The Sidereal Exalted are the star-chosen agents of Yu-Shan charged with ensuring that Creation's Fate unfolds as it should. They are inscrutable, manipulative, peerless martial artists, and utterly necessary to the continuation of life in Creation.
There are exactly one hundred Sidereal Exalted and as such, they are often referred to as the Fivescore Fellowship.
Castes
Each of the Five Maidens has her own Caste of Sidereal Exalted. A Sidereal's Caste is fated from birth.
- Chosen of Journeys are concerned with auspicious travel and connecting communities.
- Chosen of Serenity are concerned with joy and family.
- Chosen of Battles are concerned with matters of warfare.
- Chosen of Secrets are concerned with hidden knowledge.
- Chosen of Endings are concerned with the passage of things whose time is gone.
