Background

Argrath Bulltalker or as he's known these days Slim Dusty is a soul of the open road. Originally from the Torkani lands to the North, The young man had always been an asker of questions much to the annoyance of his family and clan. Finding an apprenticeship with a local sage guild (he was sent packing by his da) he then joined the Jonstown temple as a lay member after the death of his family at the hands of some troublesome Telmori. It was from the temple window that he could always see the open road and hear it calling....

Cramming in as much training as possible, Slim worked hard into the night, reading manuscripts and practicing with his weapons.On the anniversary of his first year as an initiate the young man disappeared into the wilds.

Dark skinned and wiry of frame, constantly covered with a fine layer of road dust and sporting a shamefully bedraggled excuse of a beard, Slim has spent the last year hiking around Sartar picking up stories and more often than not falling in with rough bands of warriors hiding from the Lunars. Living with these toughs has given the young sage some good fighting skills and a choice vocabulary.

Now after a few weeks traveling south, with the caravan of Joh Mith, Slim finds himself once again amongst the very type of men that he seeks.....

Having passed though Apple Lane on occasion he knows the local grey sage and has been boarding with him.
