Sea's Breath

The region is dominated by fertile lands, farmsteads, and roaming groups of animals. Aleson the Arisen controls this land from the capital, Nyrstadir. He is a follower of Aegir, earning the contempt of the Judges of Tyr, who were used to being the most respected people in the kingdom.

Dufansdalr

This settlement was a prosperous coastal fishing town. As the Black Winter crept south it became a forlorn, sad place in an almost constant fog, losing people every year by moving out. Katla, a middle-aged warrior woman is the village chief, mostly minding her own business, leaving the locals to fend for themselves. Her husband died during hunting, and no-one contested her claim to the title. The White Wave is the village's only inn, where anyone can eat and drink. Paying for lodging is optional, since the old town has more than enough abandoned houses for anyone who wishes to stay. However, decent people do pay something to Fokkar, the keeper, and he can sustain his small family.

Ranlon Forest

Not far north of Dufansdalr, this forest is infamous for its ferocious black bears, said to be the embodiment of the Bear King's fury. There are also rumors of nature spirit and strange altar sightings from travellers, but never direct eyewitnesses.

Gren

This town has a welcoming and atmosphere, a rare gem on the rough landscape of Svilland. It is a busy trade center, where many travelers from all parts of the continent can be met. If you want news and rumors, this is the place to visit.

The Restlesswind Hills

These high, jagged mounds are not very hospitable, but there are caves made by Dvergr, some are mines, some are settlements. Most of the latter are temporary, and none are really permanent.

Hvannsavik

The City of Broken Throne, the old capital. The Bear King ruled from here, it is now sparsely populated, with the palace district sealed by powerful runes.

Mudhelm

This village feels like a frontier outpost, with its recently built wooden wall. It was built as a response to the increasing frequency of frostbringer attacks, and every local is expected to be able to wield a weapon if they are strong enough to lift one.
