There Are No Terrans uses a roll-and-keep system using ten sided dice for basic conflict resolution. Roll a number of d10s equal to your ability + skills, and keep the number of highest dice equal to your ability. The number of dice from that pool over a Target Number (TN) are successes. Enough successes and your attempt succeeds. Extra successes count as criticals, and when dealing with attacks, roll on the critical effects table.
