  • Western Mandala: Half-oni abbot of the Tears-upon-the-Mountain monastery, teacher of Shining Destiny, also known as Dimh-Syr, killed by the Kuroshika during its attack on the monastery. (Zero Act)

2747 4th (Unified) 9th Iron Ghost's company arrives in the Hundred Shell Country of Kagari to investigate packs of martial Tsukumo-gami that have been plaguing the land.
2747 4th (Unified) 7th The War of the Twin Tigers ends when Oe Sukune commits hara-kiri; Oe Hirafu ascends to the Regency of Kagari.
2747 4th (Unified) 4th A veritable army of tsukumo-gami attack the House of White Cedars, the ancestral castle of the Tanemura Clan in Kagari; Tanemura Nagamasa, his wife, and his young son are all killed in the attack. The loss of one of the luminaries of the Scarlet Tiger Faction marks the beginning of the end of Oe Sukune's struggle for the Regency.
2746 3rd (Unified) 7th The Priesthood initiates Operation Pious Horn, a project to create kongohki with Resonance capabilities. Resonance interference with the Meikyo Seal leads to the destruction of several models before a minimally stable model, the PTX-04, is produced.
2745 2nd (Unified) 10th The Kuroshika is spotted in Ki-shu, where it destroys the Tears-Upon-the-Mountain Monastery near the Kikoku-Ryuuko border. The Monastery had been known as a place of refuge for the Oni and Oni-blooded of the area.
2744 1 (Unified) 1st Year One of the unified Nagara Dynasty. Southern Court emperor Seishin finally relinquishes power to Prince Nagara of the Northern Court and the reign of the Southern Court comes to an end

1st The Kuroshika, the Bane of the Oni, is first seen in Hidekami. It is later spotted in Ki-shu and Ryuurin-shu, testifying to its ability to travel great distances.

6th Oe Iezane, Regent of Kagari, dies. Conflicting wills are produced, each naming one of his twin sons, Sukune and Hirafu, as heir. When the Priesthood declines to intervene, each twin gathers loyal fudai-daimyo to his cause under the banner of the Scarlet and Golden Tigers (respectively). Thus begins the "War of the Twin Tigers."
