*Maggie's Mum and Dad are divorced. He's a scientist of some sort, but that's all she knows, having not seen him seen she was 6, and mum used to have a life, but she messed up in love, at work and now is an angry drunk that has just discovered heroin. They've had their car repossessed last week and it's only a matter of time before they lose their rental and have to move again.

*She's the school's punk kid, though she doesn't cause trouble, just staying out of most folks way. Music and art.

*Maggie loves to paint and her attempts at graffiti have just started to show up around town. She's been spotted by the police once but managed to give them the slip. That was fun. 

*Recently she found some of her dad's books and notes in an old box. They're about Robotics and for some reason she really gets it!
