I had a copy of one version of the page that was posted at http://www.xanga.com/Wraith_knight. Entries 1-1001 matched the stuff posted here, but there were an additional ~260 values that were not present. I believe these to be some of the additions mentioned as being created when this first became popular. The copy of the webpage that I have has been sitting on my HD for well over a decade now.

Post Foods considers closing Modesto plant [The Modesto Bee]By J.N. Sbranti, The Modesto BeeMcClatchy-Tribune Information ServicesMarch 21--MODESTO -- Post Foods has "conditionally approved" plans to close its south Modesto manufacturing plant, lay off 140 workers and pull its cereal manufacturing out of California.Well-paid union workers have been cooking up breakfast staples -- like Grape-Nuts and Raisin Bran -- in that massive Whitmore Avenue facility since 1976.But Post's corporate ownership has shifted repeatedly over the decades, and last year Post Holdings took over as an independent, publicly traded company.Post revealed today that its new board of directors voted Tuesday to close the Modesto plant "conditioned upon discussions with the union."In a brief statement, Post said the closure would "increase efficiency" and better enable the company "to compete in today's environment." "We are committed to addressing our excess capacity," Post President Terence Block said.Block, who was hired last year, gets a $500,000 salary plus up to $500,000 in annual bonuses plus stock options.Post's Modesto workers earn far less. The cereal plant's workforce is dominated by older employees, many of whom have been there 20 years or more, according to Bill Bassitt of the Stanislaus Economic Development Workforce Alliance. On average, those union jobs pay $18 to $22 per hour, Bassitt said."That's a good wage for our plants here," said Bassitt, noting how Post workers also receive health benefits. He predicted it would be "very challenging" for them to find jobs with comparable pay in this county.Post said it would consult with Teamsters Local 386 "to ensure that employees' interests are represented" before it makes a final decision about whether to close the plant. That decision is expected by the end of April.Jeff Berdion, Local 386's secretary-treasurer, said the Teamsters "remain hopeful" the plant can be saved."The union is working and will continue to work with the company to do what we can to protect these important jobs," Berdion said.Bee staff writer J.N. I also did some light editing to correct obvious spelling and grammar errors. There are still quite a lot present, especially considering the large number of gaming terms.

An interesting question for future editors: should this page just try to capture the historical document? Or, the historical document + additions made around the time of creation? Or, all of the above, but additional modern additions? Attribution and detangling of a lot of this material is likely very difficult.

Sayu delivers[edit]

Anonymous delivers #1314-#1606 from the forums (the last three are mine, and all true stories). Also corrected the numbering.

There's actually 1,001 now, I'll fix the article right nicely. And by fix I mean tack on to the end.

Entry #1849. I will not crowd surf on a swarm of albino crotch-biting weasels... again.

Old additions to list[edit]

I did some cleanup of the list to remove old html tags that appeared at the end of some of the entries. I think that this page was just created originally by doing a copy-paste of the webpage.
