Just in case any fundamentalist Christians happen upon this, let me make it quite clear from the outset that this page does not describe the working of "real magic". I am just making all the bits about magical uses up as I go along, though the divinatory meanings are close to traditional ones, and I am using them as the basis for the invented magical use.
