Ian Elvstrom

Background

Ian is a horror movie aficionado. He's watched them all, from the earliest silent thrillers to the newest hits. He'd be glad to discuss the pros and cons of practical vs CGI effects. He enjoys nothing more than the tension before the scare. If a true horror theme park appeared, he'd be the first in line.

Unfortunately, Joshua Reynolds has been releasing comedies since 1992. The attractions will surely be another batch of badly-acted, cheaply-made farces. Children have made haunted houses scarier than whatever Reynolds can put out here. That isn't to say Ian won't be there opening day, of course. Even he could use a little humor now and again.

Complications

Pride: "Why yes, I am the biggest horror aficionado in the room."(He probably is.) "No, I'm not scared by a dinky little show like this."(He's this close to keeling over from fright.) "Thank you for asking."(He's still acting like a self-important ass despite that.)

"Witty": Why say one word when you could say two? And if you're saying two words, why not toss a pointed barb in there while you're at it? He thinks this makes him seem entertaining. Really, it just makes him rather unlikable.
