The Immortals of Semanius

This Solar Circle was named after the homeland of the five founding members of the Circle. The land of Semanius was destroyed in the Primordial War, and the Solars adopted the name after the War's end to honor their vanished home.

Current Members

Red Flowers Fallen, Dawn Caste. Red Flowers Fallen is 2500 years old. Her previous incarnation was a survivor of the Primordial War who perished in the Aftershock War. Red Flowers Fallen is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest artists of the sword in Creation. She proved this near the end of the Thousand Struggles Era, when she fought three other Solars to a standstill, alone. She has been known to occasionally take Murakasi, God of Swords, as a consort. Her dominion is a vast forest land in the Far East, most of which she has let grown wild and uses as a hunting preserve. Over the past century, Red Flowers Fallen has become increasingly reclusive and her circlemates haven't seen her in nearly a decade - except for Summer Sparrow's Reincarnation Festival last year, where she made a brief appearance.

Summer Sparrow, Zenith Caste. As described in Razen's background. A thirteen year old child soldier, and currently the record-holder for the youngest person to ever receive a Celestial Exaltation, at the tender age of twelve. (Rakshi will beat her out by 1 year not long before the Usurpation. ) She consciously attempts to emulate the passion and mannerisms of her previous incarnation and idol, Kiyu Neketsu, but has only begun to truly learn about the reality of being a Solar Exalted.

Diaganon the Hundred-Eyed, Twilight Caste. Diaganon was Exalted during the Unfolding Horizon Era, 3000 years ago. He got his nickname from a powerful series of sensory artifacts which he was known to use. The Eyes of Diaganon were a swarm of tiny flying spheres which he could use as eyes and each had a unique seeing function: invisible foes, Wyld energy, Essence flows, into the Underworld and Heaven, through solid objects, and so on. Diaganon was obsessed with the Wyld and played a major role in pushing back Creation's borders. He made his home in Opal Spire. Though he sometimes supported the Cauldronists, he was less interested in using the Wyld to shape Creation than he was in exploring the uttermost ends of the Deep Wyld and the shinma. Fifty years ago, he disappeared beyond the borders of Creation in his custom Wyld-exploring airship, Glorious Dreams of Adamant. He has not returned in all that time, but neither has he reincarnated.

Smiling Chao, Eclipse Caste. Smiling Chao is well-known for his friendly and genial nature. A young Celestial of 400 years, his previous incarnation was called Vikaria the Inciter; like her Circlemate Diaganon, she was an explorer of the Wyld. She used her diplomatic immunity to move between raksha courts, inciting conflicts between the Fair Folk, and keeping their eyes away from Creation. She was killed in the Middlemarches by a raksha noble who was so incensed by her machinations that he willingly broke his oaths, destroying himself utterly, so he could have his vengeance on her. Chao does not share his predecessor's interest in the Wyld; a child of the Blessed Isle, he concerns himself with business, commerce and the politics of the Deliberative. His wealth and panoply are incredible, rivaling those of Exalts two or three times his age. Despite his relative youth, Smiling Chao is well-regarded and respected by many Exalted.

Lunar Mates to the Immortals

Khyrhem Karr, No Moon Caste. Mate of Red Flowers Fallen. Mantis spirit shape. 750 years old. Khyrhem Karr and Red Flowers Fallen have an on-again-off-again relationship. Khyrhem's passion for sorcery and disinterest in military matters have led him to multiple tumultous love affairs with Diaganon the Hundred-Eyed. This has often been a source of conflict between Red Flowers Fallen and Diaganon.

Renate Silver-Song, Waxing Moon Caste. Mate of Diaganon the Hundred-Eyed. Songbird spirit shape. 1200 years old. Renate and Diaganon have never been very close, and moreso after Diaganon and Khyrhem Karr began to pursue their affairs. Renate loves the social whirl and politics of Meru and thrives on the attention of crowds. She often gives performances of her original music, events which are well-attended by many Celestial Exalted.

Yuren the Humble, Waning Moon Caste. Mate of Smiling Chao. Rat spirit shape. 2000 years old. Yuren is called, "The Humble," for her habit of dressing in drab clothes and unassuming shapes. She and her mate, Smiling Chao, are opposites in almost every way. Between their differences in age and dispositions, they have very little to do with one another. Yuren pursues her own interests, spying for her friends and Chao's Circlemates across the East and South, and delving into the mysteries of the Underworld.
