:: '''PREVIEW''': ''... For several months, the anti-social activities of many of the world's criminals, thugs and supervillains alike have been on the decline. This has been seen in many quarters (outside Brick City) as evidence that the constant vigilance of the world's finest costumed champions, the Order of the Exemplars, has been more successful of late. However, some fear that this observed decline is merely an indication that greater diabolical plot makers are marshalling forces for a grand assault on humankind!! Or at least to stage attempts at getting better rates on their car insurance!
In the wake of this powerful bout of "nothing to do", the ones that are effected most are those brave few of Brick City. The few, the unfavored, "the other guys" as Firefox once called them continue to wage war on that which they can tackle - namely their day jobs...
But then suddenly the action hits like poop out of a goose! It's been on the TV and the internets... Corporal U.S. has been attacked over six times in the last three days, even the mighty Übermensch has been tapped on occasion. Their opposition has been, unsurprisingly, less than successful - as has been many attempts on other "heroes" across Metro City.
No ripple as yet from a super-ugly or other big-bad on your block in Brick City, though. The biggest news has been the upcoming prom at James K. Polk High School. High School chicks - Yeah!!
There are rumors on the wind you've heard though... The prom's theme is "Under the Sea" and on the street it looks like the Vespucci Family is makin' waves for "big" Carmine of the Cesarios.
Man... mobsters, they sure do take the fun out of... uh... fun. If some sorta gang war hits now with all this super villain action heating up across Metro City, that sure will ring up the therapy bills. Hey! Lucky they're FREE!''
