Hercido is a relatively idyllic world - if you can handle high gravity and dense atmosphere. The atmosphere is unbreathably dense down at the level of its extensive seas, but the presence of huge shield volcanoes allows breathable habitats close to their peaks. As a result, the planet can only support a relatively small population of baseline humans, most of whom live on two volcanic peaks - Skyland and Mother Mountain.
