Chendl

Chendl is the capital of Furyondy. This is where the party gathered at the beginning of the game.

Officials and Other Notables

Gaeraeth Heldenster, High Priest of Heironeous

Gaeraeth Heldenster appeared in the first few scenes of the game. Not long before, he had received a message from Galen Verlaine via an enchanted clockwork bird (a lovebird, actually) that tipped him off that something had gone horribly wrong in Morsten. The group all gathered in his office, and the decision was made that they'd travel to Morsten together to investigate.

The party is aware that Heldenster is not only the head of the Church of Heironeous in Furyondy but also is a key military advisor to the king. It's entirely possible he's the king's spymaster.

Heldenster is an attractive, dark-haired man in his late 40s or early 50s. He's around 5'9" or 5'10" tall and in good physical shape.

He's married to the temple compound's chatelaine, Maigrey Swinburne Heldenster.

King Belvor IV

They managed to convince him of the seriousness of the situation, and he took them to visit the current constable. He later took the group on an expedition to the northside sewers, where the group fought off a pack of thugs and found two trunks and found two huge rats in cages.
