Beginning Spells: As with all of the other original Rōnin Schools, there are none listed. Considering the Trait Bonus, and their Technique, 3 Water, 2 Earth and 1 Air seem reasonable.


Technique: Isashi's Gift

When casting a spell which heals or negates damage, poison or illness, gain 2 Free Raises.

Discussion[edit]

I think a good option for 2nd/3rd Ed would be replace the Free Raises with an Affinity, or Affinity and a Free Raise. An appropiate Deficency could be for "any spell which actively tries to wound or kill a creature". This would include Jade Tomb and perhaps the elemental weapons, but I think that dissuasive spells like Castle of Fire and Evil Ward wouldn't be affected. ¿Any opinion? --Ookami, the White Wolf
