Moves[edit]
- Strong personalities: When you hit the streets looking for your own faction, or dig through the stuff of your own faction, roll +sharp instead of +faction.
- Hot buttons: When you provoke someone who disagrees with you, roll +intense. On a hit, they lose their cool, and you get to choose one option from the list. On a 7–9, you both lose your cool: whichever option you choose for them, you do it too.
- They mark Stress.
- They reveal a secret.
- They lose one Debt they hold over you. If you owe them nothing, nothing happens.
- All will be revealed in time: Whenever you lend a hand to someone who's trying to keep their shit together, you succeed as though you'd rolled a 10+. Also, when you reassure NPCs who are freaking out, roll +cool. On a 7–9, they pull themselves together for the moment. On a 10+, they keep it together for the rest of the scene.

Background[edit]
Paul Carmody was a med student who started experimenting with DXM (aka Robo, aka cough syrup) as a way to relax from his studies. DXM has a reputation for causing personality changes, and high doses can give the sensation of contact with alien beings. But that's just an illusion, right? You can't actually open a time tunnel to ancient Atlantis with cough syrup, right? No matter how much you take, or for how long?
Over the course of a year and a half, Paul went from top of his class, to flunked out, to talking to himself in an alley, to valued member of the Sanitation Bureau.
Relationships[edit]
- Rosanne King shares Paul's beliefs (well, kind of).
- Paul can talk to Zachary Graves about his obsession, even though Zachary doesn't really understand.
- Priyanka Patel is tired of arguing with Paul and won't talk to him any more.
