The funky tale

Fight scene bakka bakka bam bam bam....tish . The air is suddenly full of claws and teeth raining down on the group of Nomads. Inspired by the Drums the baboons woop as they bring their ancestors power to bear on the stoopid oomans. No one hassles one of their own,plus there would be seven new sables to butcher for lunch

Leaping onto the nomad leaders chest, 'Ot Po'tato rams his fiery paws straight into the already demoralized foe's eyes. Slicing like a hot knife through Bison fat the red hot claws find his tiny brain and instantly turns into steaming mush

Ooompf..thwack Snikka lands on his unsuspecting victims back. Forced instantly to the ground and pinned with by fire hardened spear the man has no time to scream, legs beat in time with Zsa zsa's drums and then go still. No contest.

T'Sssss hammers into his foe , a momentary flash of magical energy and he rebounds into a heap. The Nomad howls in derison only to go down in a hail of slingshot and javelins.

• A massive pulse of air and energy bursts outwards from the Funky Gibbons altar. Physically rocking all within its blast, anything not secured flies along with the shockwave, small monkeys, birds and general detritus fly along the ground. All present see the four main protaganists of the tale suddenly grow to immense size, each transforming into their God for a split second. Zsa zsa becomes an insanely dancing Funky gibbon, Snikka the all powerfull Monkey King, Boo a fierce Foundbrother poised to strike and Hot potato a towering inferno of flame.

Time stops still...

Baboons freeze mid bite, terrified nomads cower from the onslaught, spells coagulate mid air and then Fwooooosh the Air sucks back from whence it came...

Silence reigns, well almost. Apart from the now gibbering Sable riders, all of the Baboons stand stock still and look at the four heroes.

One and all are now enveloped by a strange bluish light and upon their heads Runes burn fiercely . Turning their now golden eyes upon each other our heroic foursome can only wonder...until...

A huge shout errupts from all present

Above, the mighty statue of the Funky Gibbon creaks, showering all below with dust and beckons to his descendants.

• Pop...Pop...poppity pop....

Centered upon the Altar where Baba Ganough and Aye Aye sit , ghostly forms of baboon ancestors begin to appear in their dozens. Monkeys suddenly gain an ancient countenance and being to dance....sly intelligence shining from their now beady eyes as they are quickly possessed by old souls hungry for life once more. Everyone present feels the urge to dance....

• To the North and beneath the black cloud, a gang of Baboons bound and leap out of a broken tower, like an evil tide of violence. One by one they adorn their faces with ashes from a long dead fire and then look upwards to where Kong their leader stands, legs astride an ancient carved Lintel.
