Editing Tiny Amber

Characters are amberite teenagers.  Born after Patternfall during the first decade of king random's reign.  It will also be a [[Shade Realms]] in my [[Jeweled Amber]] game.

One of random's first decrees was that the family should spend time together, reassure the nobles and the populace was not going to fall apart, and otherwise cooperate for the good of the kingdom.  As they did so there was a sudden population explosion. So the PCs are children of Elders gotten out of the post war enthusiasm.  Children of Servant, nobles, diplomats, etc, all being raised in and around Amber and over seen, partly by [[Dame Margot]]

Game play will occur around Castle Amber and the City and surrounding lands of Amber.  Characters will be teenagers in the new babyboom.  As such they will have no full powers just ones they are learning.  

Part of my reason for running this game over the next couple weeks is to learn how to navigate Discord. Get used to moving between room,s. using text gaming and video and making sure everything works. It would be a pity to show up for a game and not have the mic settings work! 

==Character creation:==
*50 pips.  no Pattern. No Logrus 
*Limited Sorcery:8 pips.  With the new reign comes new rules, such as learning stuff is good.  Instructors include Fiona, Bleys and Dame Margot
*Limited Conjuration:10 Limited As Sorcery. 
*Trump:10 pips Contact onlys. Bleys, Merlin
*Developing Shapechange:10 pips. After the Repair of the pattern all Amberites gained limited shapechange, a 10 pips value and deducts 10 pips frpm shapechange. Developing Shapechange is essentially 20 pips worth of the full 35 pip Shapechange.
*[[Cantrips]]: anyone with psyche can have a few.  but putting a pip into them gives a bunch.

==Rumors-or"what trouble can I get into today?"==
*Dame Margot has unused ever-full barrels ready for someone to kype and put their favorite beverage in. 
*There are cats running around that have been dragging mice the up into the elder's rooms.
*Queen Vielle isn't really blind.
*There is a [[Mal at Riess]] inscription in one of the elder's room and anyone finding it might be able to walk it. 
*The Unicorn has been sighted up in the Tombs area where all the workman are building empty royal tombs.  The project of Randoms is some kind of threat against his siblings.
*Mole people are digging plumbing under the streets of Amber.  These mole people might be willing to build secret passages for the young ones for a price
*Merlin is so dreamy.  Merlin is a frump.  Merlin isn't as loyal to Amber as he says.  Merlin knows where Corwin went.  Merlin has the keys to the wine cellar.

*[[Dame Margot]] The motherly figure kind to even the most annoying of Cousins. 
*Even of Hale[[https://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Elites#Even_of_Hale-Retired]]: A rumpled but funny retired Elite.  An arm instrctor to the general populace, he has been hired to instruct castle staff in military matters.  
*Nala Moir Tral[[https://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Court_of_Amber#Nala_Moir_Tral]]:  A young woman from Rebma who has been in and around the catle for years.  Officially part of the Rebman Embassy her duties are unclear.  She dotes on Lord Arloxedra who is always in the Library. 
*Dart of Hale[[https://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Court_of_Amber#Dart_of_Hale]]: Dame Margot's assistant.  Called the Concierge of Amber.  He knows everyone and can get anything.

*NPC-brought to Amber by Eric before his coronation.  Crowned as Crown prince and Heir, a rank he lost after eric's death and Corwin, then oberon's arrival.
*Spends most his time in the library and was around a lot of the cousins as they grew up.  Would have been an instructor in sorcery and a source of information away from the elders.  the elders try to avoid speaking to Arlo.

*NPC-Son of Gerard.  Strong and raised on the ships.  Tends to sway when he walks. Of average intelligence and can be easily lured in on mischief.

*NPC-Son of Delwin and Leana, daughter of the Ambassador of Thelusia.  A young sorcerer.  A trouble maker.  Bitterly angry that he has not been allowed to walk the pattern.

Characters will have had extensive opportunity to learn to fight, ride, hunt, sing, play poker, and learn from the elders.
