*Appearance: While she can look like anything she wishes with the aid of the Loom-Snarling Deception Charm, in her natural state Kyrioch is a beautiful, pale-skinned young woman with waist-length red hair, dressed in an elaborate suit of brass-tinged orichalcum armor. Her skin and her is tinged silver and her hair burns with an inner fire when she spends Essence. Kyrioch carries herself with an easy, confident demeanor that suggests that she considers nothing in the world as a threat to herself; it invites by not being guarded, persuading even strangers to wonder why someone can walk with such careless ease.

The Brazen Fane is bound inextricably to the metal-skinned beast called Ormagoden, the god of the volcano and the beating heart of the Manse. His death will precede the Manse's own by only a few moments. Ormagoden sends dreams of enlightened madness to the wise men and women of the tribes below him, and those who receive these dreams join him as the Manse's caretakers. Though cut off from society, ancient tradition forbids the sacrifice of caretakers to the Caldera, earning them a small measure of safety.

As a structure designed for war, the Brazen Fane is armored as a mighty fortress and incorporates various volcanic and lava-based weapons to destroy possible intruders. The screams of the dying reach Malfeas in Hell and bring a smile to his face. TO facilitate an influx of reinforcements, the Fane also contained a Host-Binding Circle, attuned to Infernal sorcery. The massive blazing eyes of the Fane hold mighty lightning ballistae which can annihilate targets out to a kilometer away and can be fired from the air-conditioned comfort of the Manse's central command chamber. Kyrioch can also trigger the Manse's self-destruct sequence when its termination would prove useful or in a fit of pique, though that would be a childish thing to do.

A glorious prize captured from the armories of the Exalted during the Usurpation, the Mark V is one of a long series of celestial battle armors created by a playboy inventor Twilight, who was consumed with the need to constantly improve and perfect his craft. When asked to accoutre Kyrioch with appropriate arms and armor, Ligier produced this piece from his armories, stating that it would be the Slayer's sword and shield both while he labored on a real prize for her.

A glorious prize captured from the armories of the Exalted during the Usurpation, the Mark V is one of a long series of celestial battle armors created by the playboy inventor Stark, who was consumed with the need to constantly improve and perfect his craft. In lieu of a proper gift for Kyrioch's accession, Ligier offered her the armor, baptized in blessed vitriol to harmonize with the glories of Hell, promising a more personalized artifact the next time they met... as long as she had an appropriate sacrifice, of course.

The Mark V incorporates the miniaturized flight systems so common among late-First Age orichalcum battle armors. This example does not project wings of Essence, but rather, an elaborate mandala that floats in the air behind the armor like a surrogate anima banner and changes in response to environmental stimuli. Its advanced trauma management systems makes its wearer nigh-invulnerable to minor damage and can it even heal lethal wounds if given enough time. Finally, the armor incorporates an experimental (and extensive) set of Essence emitters throughout its full length. This intricate network of microscopic Essence conduits allows Kyrioch to charge the armor's gauntlets and vambraces up with deadly killing force, or to manifest small hard-light constructs around the hands and forearms. She can also use it to project energy beams, powerballs, and even a crude form of Essence lightning. All of these attack modes function similarly to a power mace in terms of range, power and mote consumption.

The Mark V incorporates a miniaturized flight system which takes the form of an elaborate mandala which detaches from the back of the armor to spin serenely behind the wearer. Its flesh-mending augmentations allow Kyrioch to heal from almost all wounds in minutes, and as the piece de resistance, its gauntlets are enchanted with potent magic, allowing her to deal telling blows with energy gloves or claws, or to fire energy beams from any part of her body (Kyrioch likes sweeping eye-beams). The sheer variety of attack modes the gauntlets bestow are only just beginning to be explored, and Kyrioch will surely innovate new prodigies of destruction with it in time.

This tattoo is crafted from the chalcanth of a tomescu who favored advanced First Age energy weaponry, and stole from a Second Circle citizen to replace the weapons in its limbs. It is now a graceful tattoo flowing down her left arm.

Derived from the chalcanth of an erymanthus sentenced to rendering for a crime it did not commit, this tattoo runs down Kyrioch's right arm and aids her forceful blows.

===Allies 1: Tya Lim===
Both a Tya and a Dawn Caste Solar, Kyrioch and Lim first met in a Coral bar where the latter tried to pick the former up. The two of them were quite compatible, though Lim didn't quite seem to understand that her bedmate was a Green Sun Prince and the latter was not quite inclined to spell it out to her. Lim sails on a captured Lintha vessel and practically dares the demon pirates to take it back. Kyrioch finds the situation amusing and has no particular love for the Lintha, in any case.

Once, there was a maiden...

...who was born to the king and queen of a small country in the Hundred Kingdoms. The maiden was beautiful and talented, and was raised by the finest tutors to be a wise and knowledgeable queen for her nation. However, the maiden was selfish and irresponsible, and instead of using her gifts to serve her people, she opted to leave her kingdom and go gallivanting off around the East as a mercenary, leveraging on her reputation as a princess to spread her fame. The maiden's actions saddened her parents, but they gamely soldiered on, believing that someday their daughter would see the light and return to claim her birthright.

Eventually, she returned. She'd heard the rumors that the Black Tear barbarians were on the warpath and were headed toward her kingdom. The maiden made all haste to return to her kingdom, only to find that she was too late, and the Black Tears had already begun their sack of her homeland. She tried to rally the peasants, but they had fled. She tried to unite the soldiers, but the Black Tears had smashed them and broken their morale. She tried to inspire the people to march under her banner, for she had learned of warcraft and practiced her trade as a commander while acting as a mercenary, but the people did not recognize her as their princess; after all, would a true heir to the throne have abandoned her kingdom for so long?

And then, as she was trying desperately to muster up resistance, the Black Tears came in force. She struck many of them down, but she was eventually overwhelmed and brought to their leader, who was lounging on the throne, the headless bodies of the maiden's parents at his feet. He took a shine to her looks, so he ordered her to be bound and stripped, and then the maiden suffered... indignities.

A week later, naked and beaten and violated, the maiden languished in the dungeons of her palace. Her guards would have their way with her before chaining her to a stake in a filthy cell, but they left her alone at night, for they had to sleep as well. During one of these nights, she heard a still, small voice, speaking to her of her foolishness... and offering a second chance. She had become this way because she was weak, and the voice offered a power to free herself, cast down her tormentors, and to eventually reshape the world. All she had to do was say one single word, and then she could have it.

And so, the beaten and bloodied wretch hissed her assent. The voice chuckled, and from the shadows stepped a gilmyne, who pressed her lips to the maiden's and then flowed over her like a tide of delicate silver fire, becoming a chrysalis and forge within which the maiden would shed her mortal weakness and be reborn as Kyrioch the Conqueror.

After five days, the chrysalis broke and Kyrioch stepped forth, naked and flawless, hateful green fire dancing at her fingertips and invisible arms of power sprouting from her shoulders. Her revenge on the Black Tears was more horrific than the fate they had visited on her country, or any other nation, for that matter. After her orgy of destruction and torment, she turned her back on the ruins of her kingdom and walked into Hell... and the rest is history.

Kyrioch could have turned out a hateful bitter wreck, but she chose to exorcise the memories from her mind to avoid being tormented by visions of powerlessness. She was weak once - she is strong now ,and she intends to make full use of that strength to attain her goals.

While a firm believer in the "might makes right" school of thought, she's willing to understand that her understanding is imcomplete, and is this willing to heed the counsel of allies, especially if they're specialized in a field she knows nothing about. Her failure to win over the people in her homeland struck her; Kyrioch of the present will not do it again. To this end, she embraces the philosophy of "defeat without destruction and domination without disgrace"; preferring to win her opponents over without a fight and convert them to her side.
