Theophorus's earliest memory is of being sold to the Sunaj at the interdimensional market of Splynn as a child. Life afterwards became a nightmare of training bio-wizardry treatments and indoctrination for his role in the Sunaj's wars. As a warrior thrall he was remade into a living weapon, enhanced by dire biomancy and marked with the mystical tattoos that enable him to battle demons at their own level. The dream of freedom, combined with his own fear that further enhancement would destroy him, led Theophorus to escape his masters while on a field exercise. The t-man is far from naive though. He understands that his body represents an investment of millions of credits and that some of the marks he carries are secrets that the Sunaj would kill to protect. It is only a matter of time until the denizens of Atlantis find him. | Theophorus's earliest memory is of being sold to the Sunaj at the interdimensional market of Splynn as a child.
