Shaping Kata Style

This Martial Art, while popular during the first age, is almost forgotten in the Second Age, this is to a large part due to the loss of knowledge of the sorcerous arts as the schools of the Solars were torn down. In the first age, however, many battle sorcerers studied at least the initiation charms to become more efficient casters in the field.
As an additional Prerequisite, this Style requires initiation in Terrestrial Circle Sorcery. Furthermore after the Form charm for this style a practitioner needs to be initiated in Celestial Circle Sorcery.
For the correct free essence flows this style is practiced without armor. Its form weapons are staffs, seven sectioned staffs and any weapon conjured by sorcery.

• Through a deeper insight in the flow of essence the Sorcerer learns how to shape sorcery through the katas of martial arts. For the Charm's duration the practitioner is not removed from combat when she shapes sorcery. She may still not use charms or combos however, and may only perform reflexive actions and may perform flurries with Shape Sorcery and Move and unarmed attacks.

• The Stylist gains an even deeper insight in how Essence flows between sorcery and martial arts. For as long as the Form lasts the Stylist is explicitly allowed to activate MA or Dexterity excellencies and charms of the Shaping Kata style while taking Shape Sorcery actions.
