V'Tori

The V'Tori are an underground dwelling hive-mind culture with a strong warrior-caste. No one is really sure where their home planet is and many suspect that they are invaders from another region of space. The V'Tori don't appear to have developed space capable ships themselves and are always encountered in the stolen ships of other species. Somehow they seem to collectively know how to operate and maintain such ships but do not posses the knowledge of creating them. They tend to use just their claws or melee weapons in combat but a few do use and carry advanced ranged weapons, but again these always appear to have been stolen from other advanced races.

V'Tori invaders/raiders are interested in only a few things -- food (especially other sentient beings), plunder (especially weapons), slaves and causing destruction.
