*Born and raised on Ururth, an Earth-like world, in a rough poverty stricken urban environment.  Joined the regional military and served 10 years mostly as a combat engineer.
*While a skilled driver and a mechanical repair expert he also became a proficient sniper, though its a skill he occasionally wishes he wasn't good at.
*He speaks a variety of languages poorly except for Russian and English in which he is an expert do to learning it as a child.
