Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

The role-playing game shares the same background as the Warhammer Fantasy Battle wargame, although the role-playing game branched off from the war game in the 1980s. The new version of the game developed by Green Ronin and published by Black Industries has been brought back into the Warhammer Fantasy Battle setting, starting up just after the Storm of Chaos global campaign which concluded with the almost victory of Chaos over the Empire (the actual results were a complete wipe out of the forces of Chaos but judicious use of the pen proved how much mightier than the sword it is and how much actual effect the gamers had over the storyline).
