Jagat Singh Mehta
Originally a middling member of the Screaming Hawks Space Marine Chapter their company was sent in to purge a Tyranid infested complex. Only to be sold out instead as distraction pawns after drawing out the important synapse creatures to be bombed into oblivion by Imperial Navy aircraft under Inquisitor Romula Cornelian Granville's command.
Watching their brethren die around them they fight off the mindlesly swaming Tyranids and hear dark whispers and an opportunity for escape, to avenge the betrayal and murder of their company.
A Space Marine knows no fear. But a Space Marine also knows when a battle is lost. Betrayal is too great a crime to be allowed to pass unpunished. The offer was taken and through dark unknowable paths they find themselves...somewhere...and the enormity of what they'd done, what the offer really meant, dawns on them. Mind reeling one thought remains clear, a clarion call.

Description and Details
As generic and faceless as a marine can be, they had few stand out features but were skilled with their bolter and hit and run tactics. Their armour retains the outstretched wings of the hawk and pale grey and blue coloring of their parent Chapter but slowly the hawk has started to bleed rust and the finer features of their power armour slowly warp, taking on features of a raptor. Chaos corruption has yet to morph their body.

Why Embrace Chaos: Vengeance against betrayal and they've burned their bridges by accepting Chaos and have no other place to go for purpose in life.
What Do They Desire: To crush the skull of Inquisitor Romula Cornelian Granville between their fingers, to convert more of the Screaming Hawks (a Raven Guard offshoot) Space Marine chapter to chaos.
