The heroes, on their way to Maelbrethyr from Forgehome, were forced to cross the Ginunga Gap. This required them to brave a broken cable-car and a group of sentient spider-creatures. The enemy were apparently Lolth-worshippers of some type, they boiled out of the black abyss in search of flesh to feed their spawn.
