Isanar, the God of Sorrow, is almost plain, with very pale skin, short straight red hair, and eyes the color of rusted metal. He is tall and muscular, and often looks sly. He usually wears armor and a helmet dyed grey.

He is also associated with fertility. He is often worshipped by magic. His surprisingly few followers can be primarily distinguished by the weapons they bear. There are quite a few depictions of him in forests. There are many myths involving his mercurial relationship with Rak. He is known to give advice to distressed mortals.

He is the eldest of the children of Erouralra.
