The famous Beorn is the leader of the Beornings. Still becoming accustomed to the rigours of leadership, he often takes advice from his thanes, including Reiginar, and his friends Irimë and Radagast. After the events of 2946, he forms the Beornsvagers, also known as his 'rangers' to provide advance notice of threats to his land and its people.

Beorn is found throughout the game line, as one of the primary personalties of Rhovanion. Material for him starts on page 274 of the Revised Edition rulebook, and is also scattered throughout Tales from Wilderland and Heart of the Wild.
