Age of Dreams[edit]

Six ages prior to the Incarnae's ascension to the Celestial City, the Primordials banished the Fair Ones forever from the borders of Creation. The period before that was the Age of Dreams, which was so warped by the pools of Chaos the Fair Ones carried with them that it erased all evidence of prior ages. While records remain, neither charm nor sorcery can verify their accuracy.

What we do know for sure is that before the Fair Folk were banished, they had managed to create *Mahakanpala. This, along with an attempt by Jaded Princess to shape Vitaris into a Cup Grace, is often cited as the reason for their banishment. However, new evidence has been brought to light in excavation of *Zelphi the Steel-Haired’s Library-Fortress that suggests the real reason is the fair folk’s invention of the spear. Apparently, the Primordials felt that this invention held the potential to allow the Fair Ones to circumvent a particularly stringent oath against fighting demons with any weapon invented by the Primordials in the past or future. Of course, since the Primordials were reborn into the Yozi, the Fair Ones have been free of this oath entirely, but most scholars seem to overlook this point when looking back to the Age of Dreams.
