Alabaster Stars of Imran[edit]

Easily the most impressive of the artifacts left behind by the victors of the Battle of Ten Thousand Warriors and Four Poets, and yet sadly ignored in this age of decayed scholarship, the Alabaster Stars were an artificial night sky created to fool the Primordial Gharos, the Crocodile Who Smiles as He Devours and lull his behemoth warguard, Jun-Fra, the Mile-Locust to sleep so that the hero Xarbrusta could slay him.

The reason the stars are forgotten dates to the rise of the Brantyst School and its foolish claim that the vast majority of the weapons and methods devised by the heroes involved were simply metaphors for the heroes' spiritual enlightenment. This ridiculous, apophantic reading, while popular amongst muddle-headed degenerates and air-headed dreamers, is thoroughly discredited by modern scholarship and a careful reading of the traditional materials. That it continues to be taught is the eternal shame of scholars and sages everywhere.

- Pon Fa Hui, August Mendicant of the Inspectors of Hidden Causes, servant of the Tiger Quilled Duke of Wang Ba
