Factions[edit]

The Cyphers (Status 0, Tier 2, Strong Hold, Labor & Trade)[edit]

Used to have a real strong presence in the part of Charterhall that you are now using as your primary spying site. They're not going to give up use of that location without compensation.

As a result of moving into where the Cyphers were you have visibility to some of the other stuff they've got their fingers in. Namely, if you intend to Claim jump them further they've got Informants, Covert Drops, and Local Graft going on in the general vicinity.

The Weeping Lady (Status +2, Tier 2, Weak Hold, Fringe)[edit]

Helped you set up your Lair, for the organization's own mysterious purposes. In this case, given it is hidden, it is a sort of very deliberate not noticing and making sure there are conveniences in your passage through the building. They don't realize you've got a permanent hidden lair set up there, they likely just think it is a place where you pass through to ditch heat or a stash point of some sort.

If you're going to stab your possible buddies in the back, they've got a Sanctuary and Turf (x2) as currently visible Claims to you.

The Circle of Flame (Status -2, Tier 3, Strong Hold, Underworld)[edit]

Were depending on others not using those secret ways, especially between Six Towers and Charterhall. So your crew showing up with them did not make a good impression (Status -2).

If you want to poke the bear a bit, you know the Circle of the Flame has Turf (x2 at least) here and Lookouts. They've got more for sure, but that's what you know by default.

The Foundation (Status +2, Tier 4, Strong Hold, Labor & Trade)[edit]

Now they don't quite notice you per se as a whole, but they know they can depend on individuals that Adelaine Phroaig depends on. And while they know the physical layout of places, and can make people disappear into them, they aren't experts at entry and extraction (particular of information) of things once built. So they are definitely usually on the look out for complimentary skill sets. So, that's Status +2 with these guys.

I don't recommend going after them, but you know they've got a ton of Turf and all sorts of legitimate business operations that could be seized if not easily.

The Brigade (Status -2, Tier 2, Weak Hold, Institution)[edit]

Really hates Adelaine and her associates. So try not to burn down anything you care about that's known to be yours. The details of the feud are not quite clear, but you do know that in addition to being in the information finding business Adelaine is in the information annihilation business. Which can often have collateral damage. And her deceased wife was the last great noble patron of the Brigade, so it may well be personal.

If you hit the Brigade, in Charterhall they've got some turf (they've got an office along with their firehouse in the area), secret pathways (special sub-sewers they've got on lockdown officially for use in getting to fires quickly and safely), and a protection racket (there's so much paper that might catch fire here, you know…).
