Background History and Notes[edit]
- There are two kinds of Felis Sapiens: the Devout and the Secular.
- The Devout believes in the teachings of Cloister the Stupid, worries not about their appearance, and follows the sacred laws, the most holly of which is, 'it is a sin to be cool.
- The Secular cat casts off religion and dogmas and revels in natural cat-ness. Fashion and hairstyle are lifes mysteries to be explored, mating, eating, and napping are the greatest pleasures.
- All cats regard work like their domestic predecessors regard poop: they sniff at it, cover it up with something, and move on to something else. Both sexes also possess six nipples, and females are purported to be extremely easy to please in bed, especially if you know how to play the piano.

- Both devout and secular cats are typically vain and self-absorbed, and thus suffer -2 penalty to all Empathy checks.
