Concept: Charismatic Negotiator as well as a Sorcerer/Engineer and pilot of the Age of Splendors now in the Age of Sorrows!

De'aneir'a is a young looking woman of six feet. De'aneir'a was leaning against a tree, letting the cool air blow against her mocha colored skin, and through her waist long silky strands of red hair, of which one lock fell before her wrapped in a exquisite golden wire decorative bands. She had her bare arms crossed under her large breasts, while she wore a two piece red outfit, a red halter top, and a short red and gold trimmed short skirt, a pair of red boots sat snuggly on her feet and legs, rising to her knees. The only visible weapon she had on her, was the superiorly crafted straight sword that sat on her slender waist. Her red eyes stare with curiosity and her lips are turned in a pleased smile. Upon the black of her curvaceous body, held snugly against her body were her large black wings which potentially could be twice as long as she was tall.

Infinite Star Saber[edit]

    • The Infinite Star Saber was conceived about the same time as the Five Metal Shrike. Sadly three sorcerers were hard on work on the Shrike and its impressive intelligence, De'aneir'a on the other hand was the only one to work on hers. The Knowledge on the Shrike was locked away from prying eyes, and yet De'aneir'a managed the best she could with the Infinite Star Saber. Deep in the Hanger in the Cathedral Factory Syrise, De'aneir'a designed her child as best as she could. She herself conceptualized such items as the Godspear, the Aegis of the Unconquered Sun, the Flight of Shooting Stars, the Grasp of Maidens, and Luna's Magnanimity, though in all respects hers were flawed and incomplete. Only one item has worked on its test and its the Sunlight Drive, a weaker version of the Shrikes Flight of Shooting Stars. Nonetheless, De'aneir'a has carefully crafted the Infinite Star Saber, granting it a weaker and limited form of sentience as well as a smaller less powerful Reactor.
    • The Infinite Star Saber is unlike the Shrike or the Manta class in shape, though sleek and long at nearly 50 yards, the vessel's three hulled shape is impressive on its own. Its essence sail wings unfold from the two side hulls and the back top and bottom of the Essence Engines, these sails glitter with varied colors. The control center sits in the center hull. The center hull has four features, the Control Center, the Habitation Block, the Cargo bay, and the Essence Reactor Core/Engine Block. The two side hulls contain smaller engine blocks and the primary weapons. The entire thing hovers on a cushion of air when on the ground. Its colors are black and red, the red are simple trimmed lines, along the frames of the Wings, and body. The family crest sits upon the sides of the vessel, where the Essence Cannon turrets are affixed. The Infinite Star Saber was built with only some of the Magic Materials, her mother was gracious enough to acquire the Starmetal, it was no trouble to get the Orihalcum, and some one granted her the Moonsilver as a gift. She didn't include Jade in some of the structure but without the soulsteel she knew she was missing something. Still the Infinite Star Saber has been operating as it should since its test flight recently.
    • Currently she has built into archive data crystals, the flawed designs of the System: Autorepair, System: Golden Barrier, System: On the Fly Recharger, as well as the Starlight Cannon, a separate data crystal holds the data on creating a more sentient, independent AI. The AI has a projection, of that a of woman dressed outfits depending on the situation (in peacetime, a red silk dress that has flowers, in combat, she has celestial battle armor, and a pair of reaver daiklaves... all just a simple glyph projection). She is a pale young woman, with shoulder length black hair, with various blue ends, and about only 8 inches in size.
    • Operation of the Infinite Star Saber is a simple affair. The Control Center is an armored, enclosed place, where two seats are placed, one at dead center that can move freely to any of the various stations, this seat is for the Primary Piloting position, the second seat is for the co-pilot, this seat doesn't move. Flying is done by two pressure sensitive orbs set in the sides of both chairs. Extending though out the ship, starting from under the heart of the Control Center is the Crystalline System that houses the Ship's limited and child-like sentience. The halls are curved and an armored door sits at the end. There are five large staterooms just beyond the Control Room, a separate bedroom lies under the Control Bridge, lit by the soft glow of the Crystalline AI. Beyond the Armored door after the Five rooms is the Cargo Bay. The Floor of the Cargo Bay opens in case cargo needs to be dumped quickly, otherwise side doors open to allow loading. Finally beyond the Cargo bay is the Armored and inaccessible to anyone other than the Attuned Pilot(s) this is the Essence Reactor Crystal as well as the powerful Engines. The Sunlight Drive is in here. Access to the two Side Hulls is limited, only crawlspaces from the Cargo Bay leads into those sections, a single crawl-way leads towards the satellite engine systems, as well as Essence Cannon Systems.
    • Speed: 90/200mph (Up to 450 Using its Sunlight Drive this however puts a great strain on the engine causing damage to the systems and/or Attuned Essence Users for 1 HL/1B HL per half hour in use)

      • 2x Upgraded Med Essence Beam Cannons (Speed 5, Accuracy 12 (Wits+Archery), 30L P, Range 500, Rate 5 (8m from the Gunner or the Reactor)
      • Starlight Breaker (S:5 A:Wits+Archery, D:75L (125 Full) R:800 Rate: 1 Cost: 100m) The cannon fires a brilliant violet beam, once it strikes its target it deals lethal piercing damage, and the shockwaves deals 1/4 of it's damage to all things in a 20 mile radius at 1mile a tick. (Currently however the weapon is untested and has flaws so the damage is half of its capibilities and the shockwaves only reach 10 miles out. The shockwaves are undodgeable unless all targets and leave the 10-20 mile zone quickly and beat the speed of the Shockwaves. The Beam and resulting explosion is one of a golden sun. The weapon can only be fired twice, safeties in the Reactor System lock the cannon down after the second shot allowing for escape or other manueavers with the remaining power in the Reactor.
      • Starlight Caress Unfolding the Fins from the sides, top, and bottom of the craft will allow 5m recovery a tick. Only the Aegis system can be used while the fins are deployed. Tapping into the Essence Inversion built into the majority of the system it can recover 2m per tick in Elsewhere and the wyld, while gaining only 1m in the Underworld and Malfeas
      • Luna's Gift Autorepair: The pilot/Co pilot or the AI itself must commit motes to the system. @15m Bashing is recovered at 1 lvl per hour. @30m Lethal can be recovered per week. @50 for Aggrivated per month. The moonsilver sections flow and move working to heal itself and any other damaged sections. During this time the damaged sections gleam with silver.
      • Aegis System (Cost 4m per tick) Reflexive (Perfect Soak against all strikes- Flaw: Vessel takes x2 damage when Aegis is used against Neverborn Essence attacks) However speed is reduced to 3/4 Normal speed and weapons cannot fire)
      • Sunlight Drive (Cost 15m) Misc action brings speed up to 450mph, this is useable with the Aegis System. It bursts with sunlight like light then leaves a beam like streak that fades across the sky.
      • Essence Reactor This special Crystalized Essence has been dormant in the Infinite Star Saber for a very long time. It thus far has only been able to manifest the Sentience of the AI, but even that was limited, now she has awakened it attuning it to the various devices across the skyship. (See the AI Stats for further information on the Reactor)

    • Passengers/Cargo: At least up to 5 comfortably, each of the 5 rooms can theoretically hold 2 people, but it get's tight then. The Cargo bay can hold atleast up to 20 tons of raw materials, or 40 of manufactured items or 100 people uncomfortably)

    • SPECIAL: De'aneir'a built the Infintite Star Saber knowing some places it was foolish to bring her creation, despite is beauty. So using easy to understand Elsewhere technologies she crafted two Orihalcum bracelets/anklets with starmetal and moonsilver integrated, these items can send the Infinite Star Saber into Elsewhere as well as call it forth. To call it forth requires a simple mental command through the bracelet/anklet (Misc Action). The effect of stashing and calling a 50 yard vehicle to and from Elsewhere is a spectacularly visual thing. The twin bracelest/anklets can also call it from any other place and it will come to the attune pilot that called. In the Control Room, 2 circular inset discs on either side of the Pilot's chair can be used to Cast Spells of the Celestial and Solar Class, she has yet to tune the system to send spells of the Terrestial which she put lower priority on.
    • Other Notes: The vessel has a password protection system and only allows De'aneir'a control of it. Unless she touches the single entrance hatch it remains closed. This is also true for the second attuned pilot. She has recently upgraded the weapons and finished the advanced systems. They are untested and so on a Botch roll to activate each power they will not activate and cause 1 Lhl to the ship (shown as a power backlash)

    • During the Usurpation Tyrise killed her husband personally. Long had he started to become warped and cruel and she knew that only she could safely end him without destroying the area around them. Which nearby lay the Manse that her daughter was sealed by the spell Eternal Crystalline Encasement. Now its several hundred years later and the 1000+ year old Sidereal agent has sensed the spell around her daughter released. She has left Yu Shan on a hunt for her daughter to determine if she must be put down or ... protected. Because of this she knows nothing of the affairs currently happening in Yu Shan and they are too busy to recall her.

  • Her father's Manse, this once glorious fortress once guarded the area from Fair Folk and other enemies to creation. The City that housed it, the Mask's Glory, and Cathedral Factory Syrise was a once a fine city of art and farming, but once De'aneir'a's father started becoming warped by reasons unknown he started oppressing the poeple in the City. It contains weapons to defend all three Manses, though Mask's Glory and Syrise were equipped with defenses, only this one has managed to keep functioning weapons, though many of them are in disrepair.
  • Hearthstone: Sphere of Courtesan's Constellation (Inset in the Amulet) Brings Appearance to 3 (Though De'aneir'a no longer needs this part) but it also adds to +2 to Performance and +2 Presence

She immediately turns her back on worldly affairs, however pressing. She can defend herself normally and attack anyone who threatens her, but she cares nothing for her previous plans or allies. The character shows some sign of penitence and retreats somewhere from all worldly concerns. To further withdraw, she might destroy or give away possessions, including artifacts and manses. The character will be uncommunicative if disturbed and will become violent if the disturbance continues.

De’aneir’a was born a very long time ago, in the midst of the height and glory of the High First Age. Her father, Soon Ser Vestra was a Solar Dawn, a man who ruled the City of Excelsior with strength and power. Her mother Tyrise Sera Vestra was a Sidereal, Chosen of Jupiter, and since De’aneir’a’s birth the woman has been quite melancholic. Still Soon held his daughter’s interest and love, as the girl loved all things that flew and he provided her with such things. She had a strong admiration for the Air Folk, and she loved the freedom of the sky, and she desired one day to fly like them. Her father gave her every little heart’s desire, and every birthday she would receive a trinket or other, that could fly. On her birthday, a year before her exaltation, her father gave her a present that she loved greatly. This present was the finest Bio-modification of the Age, a pair of beautiful and large black feathered wings.

De’aneir’a Exalted at the age of seventeen, in a brilliant show of Charisma and Negotiation between two neighboring nations that were very easily and readily about to waste lives on a war that would have affected everything all the way up to Chiaroscuro. This had been a trip that her father had been sent to take care of, but had gone off to take care of something in their militaries when the young woman, incensed at their blatant selfishness, shouted to the two elder Solars and threw on the charisma. As her Castemark shined through the two men were stunned in silence and well gave in to De’aneir’a’s negotiation.

Soon Ser Vestra was extremely pleased at this and held a celebration in honor of her Exaltation, however the young woman noted her mother’s increasing sorrow. She attempted to approach her mother about this but her mother would evade it and disappear for months. De’aneir’a was sent to Meru to be trained. It was here that she found someone new to admire. Salina, was a woman of skill and power unlike any other, her desire to see freedoms given to everyone called to De’aneir’a’s desire to fly free. It was every Calibration that she eagerly awaited to meet with the Zenith Caste Solar and enjoy her energy and view on Sorcery and Creation. It was with Salina that De’aneir’a decided to learn Sorcery.

After her training had been completed and she was sent to do as a Solar of her class should do, she decided that she wanted to do something impressive. She approached her father and told him that she was going to find a powerful demasne and build a manse upon it. When he inquired for what reason she as doing this she told him it was so she could create the finest skyships in the world. He knew that several twilights and a dawn were hard at work on the Five Metal Shrike and not many knew of this, so he was quite surprised. Still he gave his daughter the recently built Excelsior Manse, Cathedral Factory Syrise, as the once famous city was well known for its ability to create things on the fly. De’aneir’a was extremely pleased with this and started her work.

De’aneir’a was never in one place for long at the start of her work, she needed to learn a few things. It was during one of these trips that she ‘befriended’ The Song of Azure Rivers, a Raksha Noble who was good at Wyld Craft and entertainment. De’aneir’a helped the Raksha survive by granting her the essence of the Manse, and in turn was able to work faster on her project. De’aneir’a started small at first, she made automaton’s and various gadgets to make work on her main project better. Cathedral Factory Syrise was soon well protected internally while her father and mother’s manses in the City protected the whole of Excelsior. It was during this time that De’aneir’a learned of the Solar’s spiral into warped madness. Concerned that this might greatly affect everything the young solar started to work harder and faster, and perhaps it was in her isolation, with exception of every Calibration Feast, that showed her Mother that things were not right with her daughter, and she acted.

First Tyrise approached her daughter in her manse, finding her daughter nearly complete with her vessel, a beautiful skyship that Tyrise knew would one day be turned against Creation. De’aneir’a was surprised to find her mother in the manse, and was extremely pleased. She attempted to make her mother happy, as she usually did when she was with her mother, for while De’aneir’a held the love of her father she had always wanted her mother’s. Still now, after so many years her father had long stopped talking with her, and his words were now harsher. The two talked of this over great length and in the end the sober women fell silent. Watching though was Infinite Star Sword’s young AI, still developing with I AM’s help.

Suddenly Tyrise begged her daughter not to go to this year’s Feast only a month away now. She begged her daughter to hide to stay hidden for many, many centuries. But this hurt De’aneir’a, hide, remain trapped forever, somewhere? This was not something she wanted, and she told her mother that she would never do this, she would rather die. Then suddenly De’aneir’a was struck with several charms and finally a spell. Encased by the An Eternal Crystalline Encasement spell, De’aneir’a remained unaware of everything. Once her daughter was safe and protected, Tyrise Sera Vestra discarded her name and called upon the powers of the Loom and the Celestial Bureaucracy and buried De’aneir’a manse. She then assassinated her husband, whose actions against the people were horrible and wrong.

In fire, essence, and a lot of other things, the Solar’s were disposed off, Excelsior was dying before then, their former admirable Lord was killing and enslaving its populace. But then the contagion struck finishing off the city and the Southern deserts took the rest of the city. Only Mask’s Glory and The Unconquered Sun’s Sword remained operational but only long enough for the Fair Folk to damage them enough to make them inoperable. Though by far Azure Rivers, who had lead the Fair Folk to the city to claim the lost powers, witnessed the Five Metal Shrike end the forces and herself, as the beautiful skyship descended upon the nearly invincible Behemoth Scorpion Nashkriya.

Several centuries later, after the dust had settled in the darkness of her Manse, the spell that encased De’aneir’a, started to weaken and fall apart, by what even Tyrise wonders curiously. It took a day or so to come fully aware of her situation and when did she found herself looking into the innocent eyes of her glyph projection of her nearly complete Infinite Star Sword. In the back of her mind she felt the bond of a distant Lunar and she was only slightly concerned with that since she had not felt it before. To her dismay, De’aneir’a found her automatons in need of repair, and her Raksha ally was gone. Consuming what materials she could she repaired what she could and finished up what she could with the Infinite Star Sword, but she couldn’t tell why the Cathedral Factory itself was not working. When she tried to leave she found the sands of the South covering the Manse. And so she decided to launch the Infinite Star Sword. Luckily the hanger doors managed to push away enough sand and soon she was in the sky. She learned from her creation the state of Creation, no longer was there a I AM, no longer was there a Solar Deliberative, the sky ships of the sky were gone, the beautiful ships of the sea were gone. Excelsior was buried, and the other southern cities were either gone or different.

De’aneir’a landed outside of Chiaroscuro and placed Infinite Star Sword in Elsewhere to protect it while walking around with it at the ready. After a couple days she ran into a few Deathknights of the Lover and that was a rather intense fight that most likely got her marked for a Wyld Hunt or two. Still she was pursued then eventually caught, but De’aneir’a fought and defeated one. Nearly exhausted the proud deathknight managed to tell the tired and desperate Solar woman about the Underworld and the Deathlords, and their war against Creation. Learning this De’aneir’a called out Infinite Star Sword, set it upon the last deathknight while she started to formulate a new plan. Angry and incensed at their invasion she has determined to wage war against the underworld. But first she needs to get allies and her Cathedral-Factory up and running and so she explores the South and now the East in an attempt to get the funds she needs. Currently she is headed for Densandor, knowing that city before was a place for artisans before surely she could find more things to create or repair there. She just hopes that if she finds any Solars, that they are not nearly as warped as those in the lost First Age.

Personality[edit]

De'aneir'a is a curious cheerful woman, despite the lonliness she feels, and the tragedy that she knows has befallen the First Age. She is also playful, perhaps a side effect of having an Ornamental Raksha to help her back in the First age. She has yet to know anything about relationships so she is usually shy when placed in such situations that might be considered intimate. Still she is focused and will complete any task she deems important, sometimes important is seeing how far she can go before failing, this shows in her gambling and drug taking.

  • (3) Greater Curse- She is of the First Age and the Callous method the Solars have allowed upon the people of Creation has influced her Curse to muture quicker than others.
  • (3) Vice: Gambling- Believe it or not De'aneir'a gambles at the oddest of times. Thankfully for her no one has triggered her desire to do so.
