Dr. Herschal Gordon
Dr. Gordon was a Navy trained brain surgeon working at the Highgate Emergency Containment Hospital (HECH) set up in the early stages of the TSEB34 epidemic. He pioneered the surgical treatment of Prion Disease which showed remarkable success. The side effects were serious, catatonia, motor and impulse control issues, the treatment did stop progress of the disease (in most cases, or a second surgery would be needed) and restored some semblance of life the worst afflicted.
Gordon was implicated in a human trafficking incident where treated patients were 'released' into work-therapy programs, then disappeared off the books, apparently transferred to the Core for unknown reasons.
- Gordon fled the HECH after the Crew intervened and raided his books. It is believed he may have escaped on the Prison Barge with Potemkin.
