Figurehead. With 288 years, Martin is the oldest halfling of The Maloni, thus making him an authority figure. In a lot of cases, Elder Martin included, this is just for propriety's sake. Younger generations have taken to Mal'rock day-to-day buisness a long time ago.

Merry Drinker. Elder Martin spends a lot of time sitting and drinking with Jabu. While in his cheery mood, He's a sight that makes one happy to see.
