Jhonall is the restored version of Jonny the retarded illithid, from before Kanatash broke his mind. Because of this, he still harbors some resentment toward Kanatash, but has instructions from Terrek (who recreated him) to play nice. To this end, he does his best to stay away from Kanatash whenever possible and to aid him whenever he can’t.

Though his mind has been restored, Jhonall is nowhere near as powerful as he used to be and his new body is different from his old one, though he doesn’t yet know how different…
