Hippy Lettuce
Hippy Lettuceis a small farm/commune community in the foothills about 2.5 miles N.E. in the unincorporated land outside of town. Originally started as Paradise Hills Commune in the 60s, it is today a small arts and crafts community of trailers and small houses or domes with about 60 residents.
The owners of Hippy Lettuce Farms (an actual working organic farm) are the 3 weird sisters. The sisters are witches and there combination of holistic medicine and magic allows those treated and convalescing there to heal at 2.5 times the normal rate.
Several old bikers and other types have come here to retire or rehabilitate.

Paul Miller[edit]
Born in 1920 in Fort Worth. He has a long history. He joined The USA Marines in 1937. He served in the infantry throughout WWII. While after the war there were opportunities he transferred to the Military Police in 1945 and was in Germany till 1949. In 1949 he transferred to Travis Air Force Base as a combat instructor and military police officer with a rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired in December, 1957 just barely hanging on to the rank of Master Sergeant..
