Died: Oct. 22, 1985 Near Villedubert, Aude, France.

JJ spent most of his life as an adventurer and investigator of occult phenomena in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

In his will he bequeathed Renny his notebooks and library on the condition that he find the Abbey of Thélème, a place only mentioned in the book "Gargantua and Pantagruel" a 16th century French satirical novel.

Since his death, JJ has frequently haunted Renny to berate him on the mis-use of his gifts and on Renny's dawdling on completing JJ's final request.
