Jane Union

For the most part, the term 'Psychotic' in Psychotic Seven is a minomer. The Psychotic Seven are ruthless and brutal but they aren't insane. That is, of course, except for Jane Union. Jane Union is, to put it mildly, completely out of her gourd. A lifetime of abuse and neglect, mixed with her own inborn conditions, have resulted in a woman that is a danger to all life in the world.

The daughter of Britain's beloved heroes, Jack Union II and Lady Excalibur, Jane Union was a disappointment from the beginning. Both her parents were excellent heroes but they were not very good parents. The discovery that their daughter was schizophrenic and would never be capable of becoming a 'proper' super hero was a matter of deep shame to them. Rather than work with their daughter's condition, they used their power and influence to hush up her condition. Jane Union was locked up in a asylum created for her especially and not allowed to see anyone other than her Doctors.

Unfortunately, the two super heroes had chosen rather poor medical practicioners to look after her and Jane Union's condition worsened rather than got better. Attributing her decline to her condition rather than her abuse, the Union family effectively wrote her off. That is, except for her brother Jack. Jack Union will never win any awards for human decency, but even the Devil can cry on occasion. Using his newly manifested powers, Jack Union busted his sister out of the asylum and attributed her kidnapping to super villains.

Not soon after being exposed to the 'real' world, Jane Union's powers manifested. She had the ability to create illusions of stunning power and the power to read or control thoughts as she saw fit. Jack quickly took to exploiting his sister's gift. Jane Union was publicly debuted as Jack Union's sidekick and stopped a bank robbery by ordering all the participants to put their weapons down. The only people who realized who she was were her parents. Their objections were never voiced since Jack and Jane paid them a visit. According to official police reports, Lady Excalibur died of a massive brain aneurysm and Jack Union II committed suicide soon afterwards.

It is unlikely Jane Union has ever known who or what her brother has sent her to kill over the years. Being a super hero is much like playing dress up for her. Thanks to Jack Union's toxic influence, she's since transformed from an abused waif to a sadistic abuser. The sight of Jane Union's look of pleasure when she tears a mind to pieces is chilling to even the most hardy souls. The fact she is now an outlaw rather than a beloved super heroine means little to her. As long as she has her brother, she cares little.

Jane Union's personality is difficult to describe. When she's at her most 'normal', she is a sensual and sadistic personality who enjoys the violence that the Psychotic Seven indulges in. The fact they direct her to hurt 'bad' people doesn't matter to her at all. She'd be just as happy hurting innocents.

Jane Union is not unintelligent and fully capable of using her feminine charms to get what she wants from opposing super heroes. She is also capable of playing the abused prisoner of the Psychotic Seven. When her schizophrenia is in full bloom or she's under the influence of drugs, Jane reverts to a childlike personality that is all the more unnerving for her monstrous deeds.

Jane Union is a beautiful red haired girl with green eyes and a beautiful body that she's anxious to show off in her 60s era miniskirts. Like Jack Union, she usually has her clothes emblazoned in the United Kingdom's flag. Disturbingly, Jane has had two of her front teeth filed down to give her cute little fangs. Jane Union is not above using her powers of illusion to change her appearance as it amuses her. Typical disguises include adolescent girls or famous celebrities.
