Brother Brogan

Brother Brogan is a devout servant of Pango. Pango is a 3-aspected diety, the creator (symbolized as a mallet, often crossed with a chisel), the keeper (symbolized as a craftsman's hammer) and the destroyer (a sledge or maul). As a youth Brogan felt the call to joint the destroyer sect and more recently has transferred to the keeper sect. He believes that Pango is the one true god and feels no pity for what happens to worshippers of other lesser deities.

He has learned spells from all 3 sects, the highest being Create Object, Major Healing, and Shatter, representing the 3 aspects. His skills do not reflect the creator sect.

Valin Urack, "Rumble"

Valin Urack is one of the oddest people most of his friends have met. At first glance, he seems to be a typical wandering dwarf; he guzzles ale, burps loudly, shouts lewd things for no apparent reason, and rushes into battle with a sort of malevolent glee that shocks most sane adventurers. In fact, most people who don't know him wouldn't assume much more; he's out running around because he's been kicked out of his clan, or he's looking for gold, or something like that. Truth is, he wasn't thrown out of the mountain stronghold; he left in embarrassment. He'd been the clan sissy ever since he was twelve, and he went wandering to find some people that didn't know that about him. It wasn't his fault that he liked babies, wasn't any good an mining or smithing, and tended to cry when his feelings got hurt; it just happened. Nothing to be ashamed of. But, after years working as a manual laborer in a clan full of renowned craftsmen, Valin decided enough was enough.

He headed to the first human town he could find, bearing the exquisite arms and armor his father had given him (ashamed to admit he was happy to see his son go) and picked a fight, getting thrown out of each bar in town. Once he'd done that, he went off to track down some local brigands, fighting them all, wandered back in town drunk, bloody, and weighed down with gold, and promptly got kicked out of the bars again.

Since then, he's been wandering, trying to keep ahead of his reputation and conquer his own tendencies to blubber when he's drunk, coo at infants, and his own natural lack of any dwarvish skill, apart from wielding a sharp piece of metal on a stick extremely competently. At that, he's one of the best most have seen; years of lifting ore, pushing carts, and pumping bellows have left him with a physique you could smash stone against, with a strong back and tough arms, even for the legendary dwarven people.
