Notes: Her Deck is usually running Virtual Machine so she can handle 4 programs at once. Appearance:

Sofia stands about six feet tall, with long, often-braided snow-white hair and similarly frosted skin tone. Her build is slender, going on gangly Depending on lighting, her eyes appear deep blue, purple, or red, a natural trait that runs in the elves of her family. She usually wears her color-changing Sleeping Tiger armor clothes in various configurations rather than maintain an extensive wardrobe.


Under no circumstances should she be allowed to sing. She can't lie to save her life, either. Really, when anyone who might be troublesome to interact with shows up, she should shut her mouth and hide behind someone - or let her sniper rifle do the talking.

Background: Sofia was born into a high-ranking management family in Kulkorp, the a strong corporate influence on the nativist government of modern Finland. In addition to buying up most of Finland's national industries, such as Nokia, Kulkorp gained its greatest advantage through being the first to learn how to control the Kul, violent water spirits that had previously resided only in Finnish mythology. Unlike most spirits, the Kul can be persuaded, pacified, and manipulated by mundanes, using song - turning the company's media assets into tactical and strategic advantages. In recent years, repeated acquisition attempts by Horizon have been rebuffed.

Unlike her mother, father, and sister, Sofia was born completely tone-deaf, preventing her from ever acquiring a seat on the Board. Even worse, her sister turned out to be both a mage and a brilliant singer - catapulting her into the elite that could leverage the Kul into 'public works' and 'special projects' abroad from their native territory.

Lumi, on the other hand, was sent to the finest schools in Finland, in hopes of making something useful out of her. Fortunately, she responded well to the mental training, and augmentation enhanced her middling physical talents. Eventually, she was prepared to settle into a role as a covert infiltration and electronics asset, who would spend her working life on escort teams for Kul shamans abroad. The realization that she was being assigned to her sister's team was a mixed blessing... on the one hand, it _was_ her sister, but on the other it was her perfect, talented, pretty sister.

And their first mission was a disaster.

It was just a little bit of sabotage, retribution for a corporate affront. Of course, polluting one of India's Holy Rivers is... not going to be taken lightly, if discovered. And when her sister's control of the Kul slipped...

The response from the military of the Indian Union was swift, decisive, and bloody. Only by being mundane enough to avoid detection from the spirits called forth, and being able to hack the hunter-killer drones into ignoring her, did Sofia survive. And as far as she knows, she's the only one.

She used her training and what corporate resources she could still access, and a heaping helping of luck, to make her way to the port of Mumbai and stow away on a cargo ship bound for anywhere. Once she found herself in London, she spent most of the rest of her resources on a fake identity and bribes to keep from attracting too much attention. And thus, she sought to settle into the life of those with too many skills and too few options in the Sixth World - shadowrunning. She 'lucked' into finding a well-connected fixer early, but she has her suspicions about Mr. Carpenter, and just how much he knows about her real identity. Taking jobs through him, she's been fairly successful so far, and managed to settle into a comfortable basement apartment surrounded by her electronics.

Still, it's a lonely life, and despite the comforts she's earned for herself, far from what she knew even as a disfavored corporate heiress. On the quiet nights she's turned to the escape of BTLs, and has yet to admit that she has any sort of problem.
