Norrathians: Iks Traditions

You can always choose a +2 attribute bonus in place of the traditions otherwise given for your race. Traditions that may only be taken once are denoted by an asterisk.

Cabilis[edit]

Like a Lizard to the Water*:[edit]

Even better than most swimmers, you excel when in the water. You gain the Endurance Swimmer feat. You also gain a +2 racial bonus to Swim checks.

Spiritual Dedication:[edit]

The dedicated focus to the goals of your people powers your spells. When calculating your mana pool, your caster level is considered to be 1 level higher. (doubling: stacks)

Thickened Scales*:[edit]

Some whisper that you’ve got some dragon in your blood. You gain +2 natural armor.

Terrifying Rage*:[edit]

You know what terrors are held in the afterlife, and are desperate to avoid seeing Thule again. You gain the ability to Rage once per day. This is identical to the (barbarian class) ability in the d20 SRD. Every 10 levels after choosing this ability you may use it an additional time per day.

Keen Hunter*:[edit]

You are more bestial than your brethren. You have the Scent ability. This is just like the ability that snakes and other animals have, as detailed on p. 16 of Monsters of Norrath. Every ten levels after choosing this ability the range at which you can detect creatures by scent increases by +10 feet.

Bestial Tongue*:[edit]

While others toil for the empire, you play with scaled pups. Once per hour you may speak with a single animal for 5 minutes. Other than this limitation, this is identical to the beastlord animal speech ability.

Summoning Focus*:[edit]

All creatures you summon through arcane magic gain a +1 bonus to Taunt, and +2 natural armor.

Razormaw*:[edit]

You think nothing of clamping your mouth down on someone else’s sweaty, bloody throat. You gain a bite attack that deals 1d4 + half of your Strength modifier in lethal damage. You can make a bite attack as a standard action at your full attack bonus, or during a full-attack action at a -5, but all attacks that round take an additional -2 penalty. When grappling you automatically add your bite damage to all attempts to damage an opponent.

Hunter’s Claw*:[edit]

Your more bestial form gives you a claw attack. Your unarmed attacks are natural weapons, dealing 1d4 + 1 + Strength modifier in slashing damage.

Impressive Brood:[edit]

You gain +1 Strength and Wisdom, and a +1 bonus to Strength-related checks. (doubling: stacks)
