Chancel_Amyra
Chapter 7

Random_Nerd: We've no Etheric today, as he was seriously sleepdeprived and asked if he could step out for this session.
Random_Nerd: But we've got enough for a game.
Random_Nerd: Now, any questions or comments before we start?
BethE: Hmm...how detailed oriented do you expect our preparations to be?
Knockwood: how much IC time passed since last session?
lazarus: what were we up to?
Random_Nerd: Planning for a Noble party as a means of getting useful connections?
lazarus: oh yeah.
Random_Nerd: Are we ready to start?
BethE: What's the max number of Noble visitors the Chancel can handle?
lazarus: give me a minute.
Random_Nerd: Define "handle."
BethE: ... Good point. *ponders*
Random_Nerd: Well, how much IC time do you want to have passed?
Random_Nerd: I'm not particular.
Knockwood: depends. Maybe we could say we've been out harvesting during your impromptu downtime.
BethE: How much time is good for tween issuing the invites and the actual party?
lazarus: my glasses are quite hazy
Random_Nerd: Harvesting has to happen at least partially IC.
Knockwood: we haven';t decided who to invite, tho.
Knockwood: We'd need to consult with our Aides
BethE: Okay, so maybe a few hours later to see what the Aides have come up with in the meantime and so we can have thought what Nobles we want to invite?
Knockwood: last we saw of William we'd sent him to recover our soldiers
Random_Nerd: (It might take more than a couple hours for them to do their tasks.)

      • You are now known as Theresa.
      • Knockwood is now known as DanteE.

Theresa: (So, at least a few hours, if not more, while we go about our businesses and checking in occasionally to see how the Aides are doing?)

      • lazarus is now known as Brian.

DanteE: sounds about right...

  • DanteE is trying to remember any loose ends we can take care of

Theresa: (Cams?)
DanteE: ooh, yeah...
Theresa: (So, are we separated at the moment?)
Brian: (I don't know)
Random_Nerd: You tell me.
Brian: I say no
Theresa: (Okay, so then, conference room?)
Brian: (of course)
DanteE: (guess so)
Brian: (where else would we be together?...)
Theresa: (Diplomacy Grove.  :) )

  • Theresa is sitting in her chair at the conference table, fiddling with a pen. "Okay, so what do we have so far? A handful, double handful, of people to invite?"

Brian: "Only because we figure inviting everyone is likely to get us into trouble"
DanteE: "Calling them direct is right out... which makes me wonder how the Aides get in touch with them, really."
Theresa: "Probably if the other Nobles have Aides as well, or just visiting, knocking on the door, like they did with our Chancel."
Random_Nerd: (Let's say that a sizable minority of Nobles, like 20% or so, have dealings with the Aides.)
Random_Nerd: (And that of the ones that do, most are relatively new Nobles, as the organization is only fifty, sixty years old, and the older Nobles already had their own support structures by then.)
Random_Nerd: (Exceptions do exist, like Consequences.)
Theresa: "And too, it's possible that all you would have to do is pray to the Noble and bam, IM of the Gods."
DanteE: "Yes, but you remember what Consequences said about that."
Theresa: "That you give poor prayer-voice?" *grin* "Just kidding."
DanteE: "I'm Courage. You expect me to have any sort of handle on kowtowing?"
Random_Nerd: (If you invite any Angels, perhaps Dante wouldn't be the right negotiator.)
Theresa: "There's a difference tween good phone manners and cringing servitude."
Random_Nerd: (Angels, however, are not big on the distinction.)
DanteE: "I can do 'Welcome', and I can show people around. It's the whole submit-to-me-mortal thing I have trouble with."
Theresa: *tilts head* "Well, isn't that the attitude we're supposed to have, according to those rules?"
DanteE: "So they say.:
Theresa: "So, it's possible that we'd get in trouble for being polite and nice to, say...King John?"
Random_Nerd: (Hmm. Random thought... what if you /invited/ Entropy?)
DanteE: "Hm... good point.
DanteE: "I think just general respect may work.
DanteE: "And he does watch over the Johannite Treasures."
Theresa: *sigh* "We're going to have to have signs on the palace or something. Something along the lines of 'Do not taunt the Treasures.' All we need is to have some Noble get joy-buzzered by the Lance..."
Brian: (Do not taunt happy fun treasure)
DanteE: "We could go the other way... presumably the guests would be interested in them anyway. Maybe we can arrange a special tour.
DanteE: "Erm...
Theresa: "A tour might be nice. We should probably talk to John about scheduling, though. They might be out for calibration or some sort when we're partying."
DanteE: "Hm. The standard Johannite Treasures tour might or night not be enough for Nobles, and showing them the real things may be dangerous...
Theresa: (True, Dante himself wanted a lot to poke at them himself. <G>)
DanteE: (Theresa, your english teacher just called. S/he said "OW!" :)
Theresa: (Tiiiiired...but point taken.)
Theresa: "But would they be offended being shown fakes?"
DanteE: "They'll probably want to see _something_."
Theresa: "The ones with really _good_ eyesight could see Monty. But yeah, you're right. Probably should have the option of Chancel tours. And some kind of favors or goodie basket."
Theresa: (Do things created by Realm keep existing outside of the Chancel?)
Random_Nerd: (Only if you spend RPMs to keep them together.)
Theresa: (Hmm. So stuff made by people in Chancel or by Domain would be better.)
DanteE: (so, if you spin them around really fast they'll stay? :)
Random_Nerd: (I keel you.)
DanteE: (Good to know. Hang on while I grab the Dantemobile and do donuts in the parking lot.)
Theresa: "So, do we have any people that we definitely don't want to invite. Part of me wonders if anyone's ever invited Entropy to a party."
Theresa: (invite? even)
DanteE: "If we invite him he may be the only one to come."
Brian: "Don't let other folk know we're inviting him, then."
DanteE: (Lord Entropy is actually the Lord of Entropy, right?)
Brian: (nope. Entropy is something completely different.)
Brian: (I think it's a Prosaic Phsyics thing, only, but I might be wrong about that)
Random_Nerd: (He's Destruction, Spite, and Desecration, I believe.)
Random_Nerd: (err, Scorn.)
Random_Nerd: (Now, there's an angel with Destruction too. It's a different kind of destruction.)
DanteE: "I'm thinking inviting Him would be a baaaaad idea."
Theresa: "Nah, inviting him's easy. It's only bad if he shows up."
DanteE: "Let's just stick to a few people we either know or should meet."
Theresa: "So Consequences and his family..."
Theresa: "
Theresa: "Physics for you, Brian?"
DanteE: "Night, because of the favor he did for us"

  • Theresa scribbles.

DanteE: "...maybe Faith, for Hope?"
Brian: "Physics would be interesting to meet"
Theresa: "That would be better than someone like, oh, Boy Bands or some such. Maybe History to maybe help with the divination Carrie did?"
DanteE: "Of course, we barely know these people....
DanteE: "Maybe our Aides have a favorite or two. :)"
Theresa: "Maybe some Dionyl Nobles. I would like to learn more about Sam's world and culture."
DanteE: "Restraint, guys. If we're not careful we'll be inviting the entire Society of Flowers."
Theresa: "We might get gate-crashers anyhow."
Brian: "If we're not careful, we'll piss off the whole Society of Flowers."
Random_Nerd: (Oh, that might happen anyway.)
DanteE: "... we need advice from our Aides."
Theresa: ""Yeah, there probably _will_ be people who will be upset they weren't invited, even if we have no idea they exist."
Random_Nerd: (The Power of Peevishness.)
Theresa: (If I remember right, the Aides have badges that provide identification and communication with us? But only Sam is in Chancel at the moment."
Theresa: ) even )
Brian: (The Power of Loki?)
Random_Nerd: (Correct.)
Random_Nerd: (Well, if Loki exists, he's a person, not a concept.)
Brian: (I disagree. Loki can be more of a concept than an actual person.)
Brian: (but, yeah, he'd probably be Tricks)
Theresa: (Or just a bastard of a True God or such.)
Theresa: (And I meant that in personality, not lineage.)

  • Theresa will tap something to try and contact Sam.

Brian: (TNG communicator buttons? o_O)
Theresa: (I was thinking more along the lines of a button on the desk. A communicator button might be troublesome if shape-changing.)
DanteE: (The screen is hooked to a phone...)
Theresa: (*checks notes* Ahh, okay, the badge doesn't do communications on second check. Hmm...LesserDiv of Sam's scarves in the Chancel?)
DanteE: (can't you do a LDiv of Sam?)
Random_Nerd: (Theresa has very little Realm.)
Theresa: (As in 0. But at least some of Sam's scarves are plant-based. But Dante or Brian could do the Div and the miracle to let everyone talk to him.)
Brian: (if you ask for it IC)
DanteE: (Ah, R1 here)
Random_Nerd: (An extended LD with included Ghosts could do a two-way videophone as a Realm 2 miracle.)

  • Theresa waits. "Oh, wait. I'm not powerful enough to find and talk to him this way. Can either of you?"

Brian: "What do you need? I think I can do it easily."
Theresa: "Well, since we need some Aide-ly advice and Sam's the only one around, since William went to Mexico.... Just thought we might interrupt him for a bit and get some advice on Noble parties, inviting and so forth."
DanteE: "All right... let's see, we sent William to Mexico, right?
Brian: "ok." (Realm 2-way video phone to talk to Sam)

  • Theresa to Dante. "Right." *to Brian* "Thank you, Brian."
  • Brian grins dumbly (:-P)

Random_Nerd: (Okay, what do you want it to seem like on the other side? You can do images, sound, or both, as long as any images look a little hazy and "fake".)
Brian: (I don't think I want video on his end. Here, it's like bad air tv, but with the image floating in air)
DanteE: (Depends... where is he?)
Random_Nerd: (Divination to see?)
DanteE: (Brian's doing that)
Brian: (just not going to bother with video on his end. He doesn't need it.)
Random_Nerd: (He's currently "sitting" on a bench near a fountain, and writing something on a pad of paper.)
Random_Nerd: (It's in Gregg Shorthand, but the language isn't a human one.)

  • Theresa watches Sam write. Which is interesting in and of itself because of lack of fingers.

Random_Nerd: (A pen is clutched in a swath of scarves at the end of his left "arm".)
Theresa: ("Dear Diary: More helping the Nobles. Still not king.")
Brian: ("Dear Diary: Today my crazy Nobles and I were kidnapped by savages, never to be seen again. It was the best day ever!")
DanteE: ("People keep trying to grab me and wrap me around this bizarre contraption called a 'coatrack'. Must ask about that.")
DanteE: ("Entropy: they keep calling him a 'putz'. I believe that's a term of respect.")
Random_Nerd: (Also, incidentally, the fountain looks a little lopsided. The side closer to Samuel is flowing less strongly.)
Theresa: (*blink* Ooo...and a connection to wanting an apartment near the river...)
Random_Nerd: (It's basically a set of notes of the names of people and brief comments about them.)
Random_Nerd: (Oh, and as for why he can write a nonhuman language in a shorthand system normally used with English is that Gregg shorthand is phonetic rather than alphabetic.)

  • Theresa will let Brian start out the conversation since it is his 'dime', so to speak.

Random_Nerd: (By the way, remember that all Nobles know all languages, intrinsically.)

  • Brian gestures at T to go ahead

Brian: (RN: I'm fairly sure all proper shorthand is phonetic)
Brian: (at least, all major shorthand techniques I've seen are)
Random_Nerd: (Probably, but I know for sure that this one at least is.)
Random_Nerd: (I'm not generalizing mainly because my knowledge is limited.)
DanteE: "Hello Samuel."
Random_Nerd: He sets the pen down.
Random_Nerd: "Yes, sir?"
Theresa: (Hmm, so we can read his notes...anything interesting?)
Brian: ("Theresa: behaves really weird around salad."  :-P)
Random_Nerd: (It's basically notes on the heads of various organizations and companies, with respect to the contactbuilding you asked him to do.)
Theresa: (Nifty.)
DanteE: "we are considering putting together a Noble party.
DanteE: "Could use your help putting together the guest list.'
Random_Nerd: "Ah. Should I research the local caterers?"
Random_Nerd: "Oh? What sort of help?"

  • DanteE looks to Theresa.

Theresa: "At the moment, we only have a few Nobles on the guest list. Just wondering if this would be too few, too many, or if there was a better way of inviting that might lead to fewer feelings being hurt?"
Random_Nerd: "I'm not sure if there's any way to interact with a society of eccentric people with major drives and strong personalities without producing ill feelings."

  • Theresa sighs.

Random_Nerd: "The main idea, I believe, is to pick /who/ you want to keep happy."
Theresa: "Okay, so far we have the Power of Consequences and his Family, Physics, Faith and...are there many Dionyl Nobles, Samuel?"
Random_Nerd: "About a third as many as there are Earthly Nobles, I believe."
Random_Nerd: "We have the same number of gods, and about as many anthropogenic Ymerae, but less of our Imperators choose to Enchancel themselves."
Random_Nerd: "The war's not yet come to Dionyl, after all."
Random_Nerd: (For "antropogenic," I'm referring here to the class of Imperators that includes Lightlords, Darklords, Splinters, and Dominations.)
Theresa: "Hmm, do you know of any who might like to visit Amyra? Oh and the Power of History is on the list, yes, although must keep him away from the Boss..."
DanteE: "Probably a few angels. (beat) And Demons, come to think of it..."
Random_Nerd: S: "Really, not all that many Dionyl are interested in Earth all that much. I'm something of an exception, which is a big part of why I'm here."
Random_Nerd: (Demons != Fallen Angels.)
Random_Nerd: (Demons are things like Lesson.)
DanteE: (ah yes)
Random_Nerd: "I think you'd be better off drawing on either those interested in your Estates, or sympathetic to your goals."

  • Theresa scratches out Dionyls on her pad of paper. "I think angels might be a good idea, Dante, but if we bring in demons, we might have Lesson trying to mark his territory."
  • DanteE tries to get the image of Lesson lifting a leg out of his head...

Theresa: "Hmm..so we have seven at the moment...if History, Faith and Physics bring their Families, that should keep it low key enough."
Random_Nerd: S: "To a lot of Nobles, the physical location won't be the most interesting thing. Do you want to arrange for a lot of offworlders, or just a few?"
Theresa: "Just a few, I think. We're still not sure on what we will be doing during this party. There was the idea of giving a tour of the Amyran treasures, but the etiquette of telling Nobles 'Look but don't touch!' is daunting.
Theresa: "
DanteE: "Well, we thought some of the guests might be interested in the JOhannite treasures..."
Random_Nerd: S: "Oh, that's an idea. You might be able to get some Dionyl for that, actually. Human religion's somewhat interesting, what with being so exotic and all."
Theresa: "How is it exotic?"
Random_Nerd: "Just don't get people on both sides of the 'is it real' debate."
Random_Nerd: S: "Well, it's different than what we get. We don't really do religions the way you do. Mostly either something really tradition based with no real gods, or the cult of personality around an Imperator."
Random_Nerd: "Oh, and the reality communes and diversity sects, of course."
Random_Nerd: "But that's more perception than religion."
Theresa: (*is stuck hearing a bickering of three Nobles in her heads over cleavage, the Lance and lust*)
Theresa: "Fascinating. I'll have to ask you more about that later, Sam."
DanteE: (Heads? Plural? :)
Random_Nerd: (Beth, we agreed not to discuss your spare heads in public.)
Theresa: (*sigh, hangs heads* Yes, love.)
Random_Nerd: "Do you want me to suggest anyone?"
Theresa: "Yes, please."
DanteE: "In any case... we're still putting together a list, which I believe you can help us with.
DanteE: "Though we were thinking we should talk to Nobles with domains 'close' to ours."
Random_Nerd: "I don't know too many Nobles personally, but I met The Triad during my apprenticeship, and we hit it off fairly well."
Random_Nerd: "His familia has a Divine Imperator, though. Is that a problem?"
Theresa: "The Triad?"
Random_Nerd: "Well... it's complicated. The tendency of two things kept in proximity to produce a third thing with synthetic properties."
Random_Nerd: "Works with objects, animals, people, ideas, whatever."
Random_Nerd: "Sort of like Hegelian Dialectic, but in physics."
Theresa: ( ... I think I've heard you mention this before...)
DanteE: "You keep doing that..." (points to Brian)

  • Theresa hmms. "Yes, that would be something closer to Brian's estate."

Random_Nerd: S: "I mean, you know what happens when the Noble of a Divine Ymera goes to a different world, right?"
Brian: (I'm a little lost with what S is talking about, sorry)
Random_Nerd: (He's describing the Estate of The Triad.)
Random_Nerd: (It works like... okay, take a red marble and a blue marble. Put 'em in a bag, leave them there a few months. You'll have a purple marble in the bag as well.)
Theresa: "No, I don't know, Sam."
Random_Nerd: "Well, okay... so, you don't have the Triad here. You have to get by with debate and sexual reproduction and the two-party system and so on, right?"
Random_Nerd: "That's because the Ymera with that Estate is a True God. His estates are /bounded/ to the world he's in, the one that brought him forth."
Random_Nerd: "But if one of his Nobles comes here, he'll bring the Estate with him. While he's here, we'll have the Triad or whatever here as well."
Theresa: "Good thing Nobles are outside of Estates because otherwise the party might get even bigger."
Random_Nerd: "Well, Estates still affect Nobles... I mean, you're standing on the floor. There's an Estate of Buildings. Why does it hold you up?"
Brian: "I think I'd really like to meet this Triad, and talk with him a bit"

  • Theresa scribbles to make sure that extra food is available for the party.

Random_Nerd: "I think his Familia's made up of him, Conceptual Tinting, and Blue Shock."
Brian: "Blue Shock? Too much blue?"

  • Theresa rubs her forehead. "We're going to need nametags."

Random_Nerd: "Sort of. It's complicated. Too many "blue" concepts in the same place for a prolonged period produce a sort of... rebound."
Brian: "ah. No blue food."
Random_Nerd: "Not just blue like in color, I mean stuff like... F Sharp. Socrates. That kind of thing."
Random_Nerd: "Okay, Socrates is purple. Bad example."
Random_Nerd: "I think Aristotle is blue."
Random_Nerd: "Look, I said it's complicated."
Theresa: (*moves the caffeine _away_ from RN*)
Brian: "F#? You mean frequency 740Hz?"
Brian: "or is it only lower ones, like 92.5, or higher like 1480?"
Random_Nerd: "The musical note. In the tuning scale."
Random_Nerd: "It's not as blue on it's own. It's the context, partly. Has to be when it's in the circle of fifths."
Brian: "Interestingly, the Circle of Fifths is not closed."
Brian: "If you use the 'correct' ratios, you'll end up an octave and a touch away at your next 'root' note."
Random_Nerd: "And yes, we have the Circle of Fifths there. Equal temperment is divine, don't ask me why."
Random_Nerd: (Err, substitute celestial for divine.)
Brian: "Equal temperment is flawed, forces all notes to be equally out of tune."
Brian: (ok, so Brian's suddenly become a bit of a music geek ... but hey, it's all numbers)
Random_Nerd: "Take it up with the angels."
Brian: "Is Bach one of them? Or just inspired by?"
Random_Nerd: "He was Noble, right? The Fugue, I think."
Random_Nerd: "William would know."
Brian: "A noble concept. Strikes me that it would've been recently replaced by something less Baroque, and more baroque..."
Brian: (ha! How's that for word play? ^_^)
Theresa: ('Don't fix it?'  :) )
Random_Nerd: "Oh, and I think you'll find that Dionyl are more interested in music than humans are, for obvious reasons."
Brian: (Beth: no, "baroque" as in music time period, and "baroque" as in odd and strange and incomprehensible.)
Brian: "You hear in colour?"
Random_Nerd: "Well, yeah, but that's not why. More the whole feeding thing."
Theresa: (Brian - ah, thank you.)
Brian: "please, enlighten me?"
Theresa: (Did we ever ask how Sam eats? Or what he eats? Until now...)
Random_Nerd: "Well... okay, what are you made out of, physically speaking? And what do you eat?"
Brian: "Primarily water, but other carbon-chains. Eating is the same"
Random_Nerd: "Yeah. You're made of biological material and water. Well, I'm made of /motion/."
DanteE: "Water, proteins, some other trace elements...
Brian: "Motion?"
Brian: "Interesting."
Brian: "Physics would have a field day..."
Random_Nerd: "So I eat... heat, sound, kinetic energy. That kind of thing."
Brian: "Question: Shoot you, what happens?"
DanteE: "So the river outside your place is basically an outdoor buffet."
Random_Nerd: "How fast is the bullet moving, and is it spinning?"
Brian: "It is moving at [insert handgun velocity here] and yes."

  • Theresa softly murmurs "_Wow_" to Sam's description of his bodily (scarfy?) functions.

Random_Nerd: "Imagine what'd happen to you if someone forced a cow down your throat, then."
Theresa: (With or without A1?)
Brian: "Ah. So you've still got a limited capacity for ingestion, despite it being motion that you're consuming."
Random_Nerd: "A really, really skilled athlete or martial artist might be able to stop it, if he was lucky. I'm just a bit above average physical shape, though."
Random_Nerd: "Yeah. Too much would outbalance my system, and my vortices would become destabilized. Like what might happen if you set off a bomb in the middle of a dust devil."
Brian: "This is presumably a selective process, correct?"
Random_Nerd: "The eating?"
Brian: "Yes"
Random_Nerd: "I can eat anything within close distance of myself by choice, but anything that comes within me, I have to either eat, dissipate, or be destabilized by."
DanteE: "Maybe we can have a fountain in the middle of wherever we'll be doing this... probably the Diplomacy Grove."
Random_Nerd: "It'd be like having food forcibly inserted into a human's stomach, or injected into his veins."
DanteE: "Either that or a Pachinko parlor...'
DanteE: (Bowling alley! That works! :)
Random_Nerd: "Fountains or rivers are better. More variable, but within a good range."
Random_Nerd: "Of course, all the vibration on Earth is a bit bland. No colors, naturally."
Theresa: "So we're the equivalent of porridge? That's sobering."
DanteE: "Ah... how do you color a vibration?"
Random_Nerd: "Here? You can't. The Estate's just not here."
Random_Nerd: "I'd be able to sustain it in my body if I were Anchored, of course. Or Ennobled."
DanteE: (Subtle. :)
Theresa: (Indeed.)
Brian: (... not quite. Subtler than one of the Demons in the Exalted game I play in ... "Serve the Yozis!" indeed... :p)

  • Theresa glances at Dante. "Are there any Nobles you'd like to invite that are close to your work or hobbies, Dante?"

DanteE: "Hm... are there Nobles of Swords, or Knives?"
Random_Nerd: S: "Isn't that you?"
Random_Nerd: "I don't think there's another one. Weapons, maybe."
DanteE: "Thought they might be separate.
Brian: "Dante's Blades in generality. There might be specific weapons."
DanteE: "Ah yes... Weapons.
DanteE: "Possibly Guns as well?"
DanteE: "Or is that too far away?"
Random_Nerd: "Going to invite Lawyers and Money, too, while you're at it?"
DanteE: "And Courage...
DanteE: "Well, they're together, I believe. :)
DanteE: "Think I should meet Fear?"
Random_Nerd: S: "That might be... interesting to watch. From a polite distance, of course."
Theresa: "A far distance."
Brian: "Is there Fear?"
Random_Nerd: "Yes. A Diabolical estate, I believe."
Brian: "I can't fathom it being anything but negative Courage."
Random_Nerd: "No, no, didn't it just switch to Light a few years back?"
Random_Nerd: "Fallen Imperator still, of course."
DanteE: "Well, it's not like the universe will explode if we shake hands...
DanteE: "...right?"
Random_Nerd: "No. But... well, how strong is your Auctorias?"
Random_Nerd: "No offense, I mean."
Brian: "Is there a Matter? Anti-matter?"

  • Theresa smirks.

Random_Nerd: Samuel thinks.
Random_Nerd: "I think there's a Material Substance, but he isn't particular about charge."
Random_Nerd: "He's... I wouldn't invite him."
Random_Nerd: (Do you mind if we stop soon?)
DanteE: "ahem. Anyway.
DanteE: (we could stop.
DanteE: (we should probably ave Hope here to put together the final list anyway)
Theresa: (Brain...oozing...stop...good...)
Brian: (ha. Beth, have a *hug* for your brain oozingness)
DanteE: (I need to go pick up something anyway)
Random_Nerd: _________STOP_________
Random_Nerd: Okay, thoughts on the game?
Brian: (I should do some work tonight...)

      • Brian is now known as Lazarus.
      • DanteE is now known as Knockwood.

Lazarus: Interesting about the Dionyl

      • You are now known as BethE.

BethE: Thanks, Laz. *HUG*  :) I think it picked up better toward the end with Sam. I don't know, I can do fiddly planning bits okay in RL but not well in RPG.
Knockwood: that's cuz we're one level removed because we're working on descriptions of RN's world.
Lazarus: fiddly plan IRL, write it down, and use that for the RPG? :-P
Random_Nerd: Hmm. Are there any aspects of the setting you want more information of?
Lazarus: if there is, I'll bring it up in-game.
Knockwood: we need a list of which Noble domains exist...
Lazarus: perhaps with some warning beforehand ^_^
Random_Nerd: A list of existant estates is information I don't have either, and that probably relatively few people in the setting have.
BethE: Hmm...I'm not sure how to put into words what I want.
Random_Nerd: What did you think of the Dionyl stuf?
BethE: I liked it! I like poking around in this unknown (to me at least) genus (species?) of humanoid and their culture and customs.
Random_Nerd: (Really, they're not even the same kingdom as you. Heck, they're not even biological.)
Random_Nerd: (For instance, you know The Triad? As Sam hinted, that's how they reproduce.)
BethE: (So, you get two Dionyl in a room and soon you have three? ... Is Sam ready for that responsibility yet?)
Random_Nerd: (Well, more that if you have two Dionyl cohabitate, and spend a lot of time really close to each other, you'll get another sooner or later.)
BethE: (You get handkerchiefs?)
Lazarus: Brian, to Triad: "Stop mucking with the Numbers!"
