Spirits of Talent and Virtue
In acting, heroes change Creation and impact the lives of the people in it. The 36 Heavenly Spirits are those who've flocked loyally to our heroes' banner, while the 72 Earthly Fiends are those the Circle has encountered on more neutral, less conclusive terms.

- Perfected Vigilance of Stone [age 836]: Philosophical lion dog guardian of the Pagoda of Infinite Strategy; thought retired after the Shogunate fell. Lesser God

- Grassfoot [age 20 months]: Road spirit who wanders the highways within the Marukan hills. Lesser God
- Hiparkes [First Age]: Stallion-Lord of the Plains. Patron of The Marukan Alliance, governor of horses and riders, ruler of the unity between man and steed. Greater God
- Under Bridges [age 2]: A precocious gray mare, Rivers bought him at Spring Market in the Eye. Horse
- Vaults the Moon [age 6]: Bride-price for Storm of Amber's sister, horse and rider are as one. Familiar
- Wave of Smoke [age 3]: Rescued from traders in Nexus, he aids Leaf in his missions. Familiar
- Kena [age 16]: Shonai of the Third Ranger Fang, Second Reconnaissance Talon, First Wing, First Dragon of the Marukan Redoubt Garrison; now revealed as a disguise worn by one of the Mask's Abyssal servants. Mortal DECEASED
