Henrik, Carl, Rebecca, and Redland return to Los Angeles from their excursion in the desert.
Carl has set up a meeting with a lawyer so that Redland and Henrik can gain access to some of Carl's substantial funding and a series of safe houses throught the U.S. and Europe. Jack is late to the meeting due to a vision he has received from the Dark Pharaoh, which has left him disoriented. While he is recovering from this, a strange wanderer, Mr. Valentine, steals into his room and rifles through his journals and (meager) stuff.
By coincidence (or is it?), Redland's vision featured Valentine as a major player. He introduces Valentine to the rest of the group (in particular, Auda, Rebecca, Carl, Henrik, and Boris). They feel each other out and Valentine agrees to accompany the group. It seems that he has a peculiar talent of 'finding things'. He doesn't really know what it is he is looking for, he just gets a sense of where he's supposed to go and what he is supposed to do. He is rather unfazed by the oddness he is presented with by the group.
After settling the matter of Valentine, the party decides to hash out what should be done next. It is determined that two separate groups will be formed, with Henrik, Rebecca, Auda, and Valentine travelling to Wisconsin and Carl, Boris, and Redland journeying back to New York. They will take care of various tasks and then meet up again in the Dakotas for the Pentheus field test. Most likely, Redland and Boris will be travelling with Pentheus in an official capacity, while the others will observer unofficially or not at all.
After March 29, before April 4[edit]
Henrik successfully undergoes the rites necessary to become a 'Soldier'.
April 4 or so[edit]
Upon arriving in New York, Carl, Boris, and Jack meet with the Nightsider, Roderick Usher. Carl furthers his 'many gods' plan, while Jack tacks on a separate bargain that will get three Elders together to break the bond between Auda and Rebecca.
Everyone has various minor projects that may or may not be settled in email between sessions.
