Sandrey[edit]

Sandrey comes from a family of guardmice: if somebody in her family was not of the guard, you can bet that they worked closely with it. Mother was a Captain and Father a blacksmith, Aunt and Uncle veterans who died in the war, her brother is an archivist and scribe for them - and so on. Somebody in this generation had to go into the guard, and fate befell on Sandrey to shoulder the honor.

She likes it, genuinely, but she is quite aware that her family's connections have lead to her being promoted beyound her current abilities, and this is the reason why she has been sent to patrol in the same group as the experienced Cei, in the hope that his experience can help cover for her lack and prevent disaster from falling upon the group or the daughter of two very respected and well-thought of mice.

This knowledge of her own situation and her family's expectations and understandings has frankly starved her spirit. She tends to flinch away from social confrontation and disagreements, and is rather analytical and politely distant, but she is not incompetent despite her premature promotion. She is here to help.

Enemy: Lilly, a Guard Captain who is (rightfully) worried about this family's influence. The premature promotion of their lone daughter is the best chance to prove this problem.
