Tian's Message to Dr. Wickett
Text of a message from Dr. Grace Tian to Dr. Wickett, sent during the flight from Blue Sun to Albion.
Dr. Wickett,
When we spoke at the conference, we both know that I was attempting to keep what I said very general. But I feel the time has come to speak to you frankly.
The patient we spoke of was/is me. My situation seems to be deteriorating, albeit slowly. At this time, I seem to be—and bear in mind that this is a self-analysis—suffering serious insomnia most of the time and flashback/nightmares when I do sleep.
I have occasional black-outs and when I become aware again, I often find myself either harming myself or doing other inexplicable actions that are disturbing.
I would like to read the full body of your research and to speak to you about the possibility of participating as anonymously as possible in your study.
