Mwaguzi (pl Waguzi) are mediums, people with the Channeling (10pts) and Medium (10pts) advantages. Occasionally there is a Mwaguzi without Medium, who just pretends, but in this setting once you have Channeling you can learn Medium - you almost have to. Being able to channel only one spirit is the Conduit advantage, value dependent on the Reknown of your spirit. In Ubantu, Conduits of the Saints are called Mandwa (pl. Bandwa). Normally a Mabaale has only one Mandwa per temple - being the metranon for a Saint is not the same as being able to contact that being, which many of the Wafuasi of the Saint Society may do. There is almost always a simple ritual for entering the trance. While possessed, the Bandwa are frenzied and mostly unintelligeble (the preist officiating translates), and they may not remember the events of the trance (-25% limitation). Possession is often very fatiguing, this is a -50% limitation, 2dF per hour/event. In Kidini, both the Waguzi of the ancestors and the Bandwa of the saints must be chaste.
Waguzi are usually called at an early age, before morriage. They may be male or female, equally, but often Conduits are female "wives" of the spirits they channel.
