Background	If you asked Max, she'd tell you that her parents never paid enough attention to her as a child. If you asked her parents, they'd tell you that it would have been physically impossible for an entire battalion of admirers to give Max all the attention she craved, let alone two overworked farmers. Early on, Max discovered a gift for shooting and throwing knives and, realising that it could bring her more praise and accolades, worked on developing it -proudly reaching the point where she could reliably knock the apple from a stolid little brother's head with a knife at fifteen feet. She has been absolutely crazy to go on the Outing, and has been talking about it non-stop for the past five years. At last, Max Dinkel and Her Astonishing and Entertaining Knife-Feats will be unleashed on the outside world.
