Winds of Battle - revised This is the MSM-compliant version of the Winds of Battle style used by Iron Seraph in Nihao Honey 2.

Common Crimson Style

Type: Artful (swords)

Default Crits: Down or Disarm

1: Zephyr

Like a leaf on the wind the user floats about the battlefield. Seemingly random he moves,his blade striking out like a summer’s breeze.

  • Crimson Chi modifier to your Strike for one attack.
  • +5 modifier to a single dodge or athletics roll this round.

2: Gale

With surprising speed the user’s sword lashes out, battering and cutting all at once like the debris lashing about inside a strong wind.

  • Crimson Chi modifier to your Speed and Damage.
  • Inflict Knockback on a standard success.

3: Cyclone

The user moves in a circular pattern, assisted by a battlethirsty wind. His weapon cuts a dozen times in the blink of an eye; like the vortex it threatens all who come near and grows over time!

  • Make a Secondary Attack at the end of the round.
  • Gain 1 extra damage die for each round you use this technique, up to a maximum of 6 extra dice. (+1 on the first round, +2 on the second, +3 on the third, etc.)
  • Channel 2 Jade chi to activate the technique on the next turn.

4: Stormlord

Such mastery over the Winds of Battle has been reached with this level of accomplishment, that the winds will safeguard you from all that passes through it.

  • You may block ranged attacks without penalty.
  • Treat yourself as one range category further than you really are against ranged attacks.
  • This technique lasts the entire round.

5: Sirocco

Warm and oppressive, this ultimate attack leaches strength like an arid wind.

  • Target loses his Silver breath for a number of rounds equal to the Rank you have attained.
  • The defender loses 2 dice from his defense against this attack.
