Solars

Moraven Soshir

Eclipse Caste & freelance diplomat
While not as experienced as the Denandsor circle, Moraven has earned a reputation as a keen negotiator in the Scavenger Lands. Originally from Great Forks, he achieved his greatest feat when he disarmed his First Age incarnation's tomb in Nexus, retrieving the legendary Third-Arm Glaive from his coffin. Since that time, he has been based out of Nexus (no surprise, as his Lunar mate lives in that city), but serves as an ally of the Circle. His major job is acting as an official go-between for the Circle and the Emissary; however, he also travels through parts of the Hundred Kingdoms, spreading the stories of the Solars' return.

  • Moraven's favored skills would likely be Melee, Integrity, Presence, Performance, and Occult. He's certainly not at Apothesis levels of skill, but he is an experienced Solar (having Exalted probably two or so years ago). His greatest strength is his diplomatic skill, but he is also a sorceror of the Terrestrial Circle, and capable of casting a few handy spells (including Infallible Messenger, which he uses to stay in touch with the Circle).

Keisara

Marukani Zenith Caste
Keisara was an accomplished rider and warrior, even among the Marukani people. She Exalted in the midst of battle, fighting off the forces of the Mask of Winters. While relatively inexperienced, she has immense faith in the Unconquered Sun -- after all, did He not Exalt her when she and her people needed His power the most?
She is on good terms with the Circle, but spends her time these days helping to rebuild the Marukani towns destroyed in the fighting. She also is spreading the faith of the Unconquered Sun throughout her people. She strongly criticizes the Immaculate Faith for overstepping their bounds, but recognizes that they were doing their best. It's just that they're not Celestials, and so are ill-suited to ruling Creation. As she puts it, "Each of us, god, Exalt, or mortal, has a role to play. Our job is to play that role as best we can, and we will be rewarded for it in the end."

  • Her favored attributes would probably be Archery, Lore, Ride, Occult, and one other; experience level is just above starting Solar levels. She's a wandering evangelist who, while she has nothing but good intentions, occasionally lets her enthusiasm get the best of her. I picture her wandering the plains, performing exorcisms in Sol Invictus' name and doing her best to restore proper order, as she sees it.

Lunars

Inara Smalltooth

Full Moon Lunar
Spirit Form- Mongoose

Inara's body is as small as her heart is huge. She is loud, boisterous, pretty, uncouth, friendly, and loveable, a firecracker with a big bang in a tiny package. She is also fast, ferocious, charismatic, deadly with a daiklave, and if she thinks she is right will never, ever back down from a fight. Born, raised, and Exalted in one of the worst slums of Nexus, she fights to keep her family and neighbors safe from the worst predations of her fellow Nexus citizens.

Inara is Smoke Wolf's bonded mate and leader of an elite squad of mercenaries, the Iron Wolves, based out of Nexus.

Sidereals

Gracious Shaia

Gold Faction Chosen of Serenity & Advisor to the Circle of Denandsor
A young-looking (perhaps in her early or mid-20's) with red hair, freckles, and an inevitably infectious smile, Shaia has a much more passionate outlook than Jorim. Whereas the Dawn is pleasant but often seems distant at first, the Sidereal is quick to leap in without hesitation, often becoming someone's closest friend within five minutes of meeting them. Her secret is that she genuinely likes just about everyone she meets, and that shines through. Despite their differences, Shaia is Jorim's best friend, his lover, his advisor -- he trusts the Sidereal with his truest self. She advised him when he was beginning his new life, and has never yet steered him wrong. In exchange, she found that she could drop her masks around Jorim, and be who she truly was. The two of them care very deeply for each other, and would defend each other to their dying breaths.
This is what makes the situation with Xiao so difficult. Shaia is strongly attracted to the Twilight, but in a different way -- that flame burns with a fierce heat, while her love for Jorim is quieter, but more reliable. Still, as a Chosen of Venus, she knows the consequences of such a tangle....and so she does what she can to mitigate such issues.

Terrestrials

Gods

Seijiro, God of Swordplay

Seijiro is a god whose experience dates back to the Primordial War. While not quite as powerful as the directional gods of war, within his area of expertise, only Sol Invictus could match him. Out of respect for this feat, Seijiro swore to serve the Unconquered Sun, and helped to train His Exalted. The Sword God found great joy in working with Solars of the Dawn caste; here were warriors born, who absorbed his knowledge like sponges and expanded upon it, raising Seijiro's own acclaim.
After the Usurpation, Seijiro was ignored by the Immaculate Order, due to his association with the Solars. Though he was still given some honor by soldiers and fighters across Creation, his status declined quickly. What grated most, though, was the knowledge that no child of the Second Age would ever match the sheer ability of a Solar Exalted in swordplay, and so his gradual decline was inevitable. That all changed with the return of the Solars, and a Dawn caste named Jorim. Here, Seijiro knew, was a suitable student at long last.
These days, Seijiro's status has been raised by Jorim's deeds, and he takes great pleasure in his student's accomplishments. The god currently divides his time between Yu Shan, where he helps to train the celestial armies, and the Scavenger Lands, where he works with Jorim and the Solar's allies. The Seventh Legion has recently taken to honoring him before battle, as an ally of Tien Yu; his actual relationship with the Goddess of Lookshy is something none will ask about.
Seijiro tends to appear as a tall man, well-muscled, with firey red hair and steel gray eyes. He dresses in light armor, and is never without his blade. The sword appears most often as a daiklaive of adamant, well-worn but surpassingly sharp, and glowing with a faint light of power. Only Seijiro knows its title, and only those who he deems worthy can wield it in battle.
